Math 1090: Algebra and Trigonometry (Fall 2009)

Math 1090 is a pre-calculus course designed to prepare students for Math 1000. It covers a wide range of topics, from solving equations to graphing functions to working with trigonometry and logarithms. Math 1090 is an excellent course for anyone who feels that they need to improve their math skills from high school -- or even just shake off the rust. It's a very computational course, but students must be prepared to put in the work needed to fully grasp any aspects of pre-calculus that they find difficult.

On this page, you'll be able to download course handouts (including tests, worksheets and solutions). If there is a disruption to the class schedule -- because of weather, for instance -- you should check this page for news relating to modified due dates and the like. Corrections to any errors on assignments or worksheets will also be posted here... although I'll try my best not to make any!
