Math 2051 picks up from where Math 2050 left off. It's a more theoretical
course, which generalises the notion of a “vector”, explores
many additional properties of vectors and matrices, and introduces the
concept of a linear transformation. Expect to do lots of proofs... but
don't worry, there'll be a heavy dose of computation too.
On this page, you'll be able to download course handouts (including
assignments, tests and most solutions). If there is a disruption to the
class schedule -- because of a snowstorm, for instance -- you should check
this page for news relating to modified due dates and the like. In the
incredibly unlikely, exceedingly minuscule, practically infinitesimal
event that I make a mistake on an assignment, corrections will be posted
here.
