Hi everybody.

I don't yet have the next email bulletin about new Pike DNA results ready 
to go, but there is some late-breaking news from Family Tree DNA that I 
want to pass on.  In short, they are having a time-limited promotion to 
mark "DNA Day"... this anniversary is briefly described at 
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA_day

Regarding the promotion, it expires on Friday at midnight (Houston time), 
and it applies to several tests, both for new customers as well as those 
wishing to upgrade.  I've posted some of the details on our project's "How 
to Join" page, where there is also a link to Family Tree DNA's 
announcement about this event.

While I'm writing, let me also pass along the news that Family Tree DNA 
has recently made available a new 111-marker Y-DNA test.  My understanding 
is that this is only available as an upgrade for people who have already 
had 67 markers tested, and is mostly intended for people who have numerous 
matches and wish to further narrow their matches by testing additional 
markers.
