Subject: [PIKE-DNA] Pike DNA in the news

Hi everybody.

We're currently waiting for a bunch of results to start
to come in from a large number of test results. Among
these will be three or four for New England Pike lines that
are not yet known to connect with any others. There are also
several upgrade results coming soon ... on this note, I should
mention that the new 59-marker test that FamilyTreeDNA
announced several weeks ago has since been revised to include
extra markers, so that it is now a 67-marker test.

But what is really prompting me to write this email today is
that I just stumbled upon an article that appeared in the
16 May 2006 issue of The Pueblo Chieftain. It mentions
Roger Pike and that his DNA results put him in with the
family group that includes Zebulon Montgomery Pike.
