Subject: [PIKE-DNA] Available Sponsorship Support

Hi everybody.

I'm writing to let folks know that there's been a recent donation
to our project's sponsorship fund, which is generally used to help
pay for some of the testing expenses for new participants. The
single most common reason why folks who are interested in our
project don't join is because of the cost of the DNA tests, so
donations like this one are much appreciated.

This most recent donation should provide assistance for up to
4 new participants, with each obtaining $25 of support. As per
the donor's request, preference will be given to people whose Pike
ancestors resided in Michigan, New York, and/or Massachusetts.
If you know of any Pike's who fit this description and might be
encouraged to join our project with this support, then please
feel free to pass this notice on to them.

Anybody who might be interested in taking advantage of this
support should contact me privately at dapike@math.mun.ca so
that we can discuss some of the details. It might also be
helpful for them to review some of the information on the
project's website, which can be found here:
http://www.math.mun.ca/~dapike/family_history/pike/DNA/

Thanks,

- David.

PS: A major re-configuration of the campus network is planned
for Tuesday night, during which time I'll be cut off from email
and the project's website will be down. Such maintenance happens
from time to time, but this one is projected to last for at least
six hours.
