Subject: [PIKE-DNA] New Test Results

Hi everybody.

Here's some breaking news: three 12-marker results came out today, literally
within minutes of each other, which is a bit unusual. FTDNA runs its tests
in batches, but typically results come out one by one, kind of like when
you plant a bunch of seeds and then watch for the seedlings to pop up.
This time it seems to have been more like baking a batch of cookies, where
they all come out of the oven at the same time.

Anyway, of these 3 results (which are also nearly 2 weeks early), one is
a perfect match with a previous result, while a second is off by just one
when compared to a previous result. The third one is completely different,
to the point where it actually belongs to a different haplogroup than any
of the other project participants.

I have updated the results page on the project website

  www.math.mun.ca/~dapike/family_history/pike/DNA/index.php?content=results.html

to show these latest results. I've also re-formated the page so that
groups of similar results are presented together, and I've added some
explanations.
