In The name of God Amen
The Foureteenth day of May Anno Domini 1674 And in the six
and Twentieth yeare of the Reign of our Soveraigne Lord Charles
the Second by the grace of God King of England Scotland France and 
Ireland defender of the Faith &c I Thomas Pyke Cittizen and Poulter
rer of London Being att present sicke and weake in Body But of sound 
and perfect mind and memory (Thanks be given to Almighty God
for the same) And considering the uncertainty of this finite and
Transitory life doe make and declare this my Last will and Testament 
in manner and forme following (That is to Say) Firstand principally 
and before all earthly things I comend my soule into the hands 
of Almighty God who gave it And my Body I Comitt to the 
earth from whence it came To be decently buried att the discretion
of my Executrix hereafter named in assured Trust and Confidence
through the alone meritts death and passion of Jesus Christ my
onely Saviour and Redeemer To obtain Free remission of all my
sinnes And that both Soule and Body shall att the last day Inheritt
Eternall life And as Touching all such wordly Estate and goods as it
hath pleased God to bestow upon me and to Blesse me withall I give
devise and bequeath the same in manner and forme following (That 
is to Say) First my will and mind is That all such debts and sumes of
money as I shall truly owe to any person or persons att the time of 
my decease shalbe duly and truly paid and satisfied and my Funerall

Expences discharged Item I give and bequeath unto my Loving Father
Richard Pyke the sume of Fifty Five pounds of lawfull money of England
Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother Edward Pyke the sume of
Tenn pounds of like money Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother
Richard Pyke the sume of Forty pounds of like money Item I give and
bequeath unto my Broher William Pyke the sume of Fifteen pounds of like
money Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother Jonathan Pyke the sume
of Tenn pounds of like money Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother 
John Pyke the sum of Fifty pounds of like money Item I give and B
queath unto my sister Jane Grov the sume of Fifteen pounds of like money
Item I give and bequeath unto my uncle George Maunder the sum of Five
pounds of like money And my will and mind is That all the aforesaid Legacies
and sumes of money shalbe paid unto the six Parties Respectively by my
Executrix hereafter named within Six moneths next after my decease 
And further my will and mind??? That ????? my dear and loving 
wife Mary Pyke shall happen to dye and depart this life in her widowhood
and shall not be married Then and in such case I give devise and Be
queath after her death these further Legacies following That is to say I
give and bequeath unto my said Father Richard Pyke the sum of one hundred
pounds of lawfull money of England Item I give and bequeath unto my said
Brother Edward Pyke the sume of Fifty pounds of like money Item I give
and bequeath unto my said Brother Richard Pyke The sume of one hundred
pounds of like money Item I give and bequeath unto my said Brother
William Pyke the sume of Fifty pounds of like money Item I give and
Bequeath unto my said Brother Jonathan Pyke the sume of one hundred
pounds of like money Item I give and bequeath unto my said brother 
John Pyke the sume of one hundred pounds of like money Item I give and
bequeath unto my said sister Jane Grove the sume of one hundred
pounds of like money & All which legacies and sumes of money ????
mentioned I will and appoint to be paid unto the said Parties
Respectively within Three moneths after such decease of my said wife
as aforesaid And in case any of the said parties shall happen to dye
before the Legacies last menconed shall become payable Then I give and
bequeath the Legacie or Legacies of such of the said parties soe deceasing 
unto the Survivors of them to be devided equally amongst them share and
share alike The Rest and Residue of all my goods Chattells Leases Plate
Jewells Houshould Stuffe Ready money debts And all other Estate unbequea-
thed whereof I shalbe possessed att the time of my decease I give devise 
and bequeath the same unto my said wife Mary Pike whom I make
ordaine Constitute and appoint the full and sole Executrix of this my
Last will and Testament And overseers of this my will I nominate
and appoint Robert Knightly and John Marvin Merchants intreating 
them to be ayding and assisting To my said Executrix in the performance
of the same And for their Care and paines herein I give and bequeath
unto each of them the sume of Twenty shillings to buy them Rings
And Lastly I do hereby Renounce Revoake frustrate and make void all
other will or wills by me heretofore made And doe declare and appoint
these presents to stand and be my last will and Testament & In Witnes
whereof I the said Thomas Pyke To this my Last will and Testament 
Contayned in One Sheete of Large Dutch Paper have sett my hand and
seale the day and yeare First above written  Tho Pyke  Signed
