Thomas Pyke of Ilmister in the Countie of Somerset gent beyng sicke of
bodye but of perfect remembrannce (thankes be to god) the fourteenth daye of Januarye
Anno Domini one thowsand six hundred and sixteene in the presence and heering of John
Paule of Sea in the Countie of Somerset yeoman James Drewe of Pismerche husbandmn
and Katherine Gill wife of Robert Gill of Sea aforesayed husbandman did make his last will
and testament Nuncupative in manner and forme folowing First he gave to his sonne
German Pyke all his estate right title and interest which he had of and in a
Tenement in Chellington and the Lease thereof Item he gave unto his sonne William
Pyke the somme of one hundred poundes of lawfull money of England and all his
estate righte title and Interest which he had in certayne groundes lying in Dillington
called Bywells within the parish of Ilmister aforesayed and the Lease thereof And of
his sayed last will and testament he made and ordayned Katherine Pyke his wife
and xpofer Pyke his sonne executors  Signum Johannis Paule  Signum Jacobi Drewe
