In the Name of God Amen
I Stephen Pyke Cittizen and  Marchantaylor of London
being sick and weak in body but in good and perfect minde and
memory praysed be Almighty God Therefore Considering with my
selfe the uncertainty of this Transitory life I doe therefore make and
ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme 
following (That is to say) First I Commend my Soule into the handes
of Almighty God my only Maker and Creatour hopeing assure???



the only merritts of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to be made 
pertaker of everlasting happines And I Committ my body to the Earth 
from whence it came to be decently buried in Christianlike manner
by my Executrix hereafter named And as touching all and singular 
such worldly goods and estate as it hath pleased God to make me a dis-
-poser of I doe give devise and bequeath the same in manner and forme
following (that is to say) Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my sister 
Nem Taylor Twelve pence of lawfull money of England And all
the rest residue and remainder of all and singular my goods Chattells
moneyes moveables householdstuffe and Estate whatsoever and where
soever my debts and funerall expences being thereout paid and 
deducted I give devise unto my loveing Wife Elizabeth Pike whome
I doe hereby appointe and ordaine full and sole Executrix of this my 
last will and Testament And I doe hereby revoake all former Wills and 
Testaments by me made and doe declare this to be my very last will
and Testament In Witnesse whereof I the said Stephen Pyke have 
hereunto sett my hand and seale the three and twentith day
of November in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand six hun-
dred fifty and fower The marke of the said Stephen Pyke Signed 
sealed delivered published and declared by the said Stephen Pyke
to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us James 
Alkinson The marke of John Tidder And Hen Lewes Scrivenr

This will was proved att Westminstr
the seaventh day of December in the yeare of our Lord God
One thousand six hundred fifty and fower before the Judges for
probate of Wills and granting Administrations lawfully authorizd
by the oath of Elizabeth Pyke the Relict and sole Executrix named
in the above written Will To whome Administration of all and
singular the goods Chattells and debts of the said deceased was
Committed she being first legally sworne truly and faythfully to
administer the same
