In the Name of God Amen
I Robert Pyke being in bodily health and of sound and disposing
mind and memory And considering the Perills and Dangers of the 
Seas and other Uncertaintys of this transitory Life Do for avoiding
Controversys after my decease make publish and declare this my 
last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say
First I recommend my Soul to God that gave it And my Body I 
Commit to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to Order And as for
and concerning all my Worldly Estate I give bequeath and dispose
thereof as followeth that is to say to William Haskins in the
County of Surry Mariner all my Wages Sum and Sums of money Lands
Tenements Goods Chattells and Estate whatsoever as shall be any


ways due owing or belonging unto me at the time of my Decease 
I do give devise and bequeath the same unto the said William
Haskins And I do hereby nominate and appoint him the said Will
Haskins Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby
revoking all former and other Wills Testaments and Deeds of
Gift by me at any time heretofore made And I do Ordain and
ratify these presents to stand and be for and as my only last
Will and Testament In Witness whereof to this my said will
I have sett my hand and Seal the thirteenth day of April Anno
Domi 1738 And in the Eleventh year of the Reign of his Majesty
King George over Great Britain &c The mark of Robt Pyke

On the Sixth day of November in the year of our Lord
One thousand Seven hundred and Forty Issued forth a Comission
to John Langskail otherwise Longskeail Principal Creditor and 
Administrator of the Goods of William Haskins otherwise 
Neskin deceased (whilst living) Sole Executor and universal
Legatee named in the Will of Robert Pyke late of the Parish of
St Mary Rotherhith in the County of Surry but in the East 
India Merchant Ship the Marlborough a Batchelor deceased
to Administer the Goods Chattells and Creditts of the said deced
according to the Tenor and Effect of the said Will being first 
Sworn duly to Administer The said William Haskins otherwise 
Neskin Surviving the said Testator but dying without having
taken upon him the Execution of the said Will
