In the Name of God Amen
I Mary Pyke of Islington in the County of Middlesex Spinster
do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament 
in manner and form following That is to say I give and
bequeath unto my loving Cousin Samuel Lowe the Sum of
one Hundred pounds and to my Cousin Elizabeth Critchlow widow


the Sum of five pounds And to my Cousin Anne Bridge of
Canterbury Widow the Sum of Thirty pounds And to my Cousin
Jane Bridge Spinster the Sum of five pounds and to Mr
Alderman John Nuthall of Norwich the sum of five pounds
And to William Offley of Norwich aforesaid Doctor of Physick
the sum of ten pounds And to Mrs Elizabeth Smith Spinster of
Ipswich the sum offive pounds and to Hannah Seliom of 
Canterbury aforesaid widow the sum of five pounds and to 
Mr Samuel Shease the elder and Elizabeth his Wife and the
Survivor of them the sum of ten pounds and to Mr Samuel
Hartley of London Mercer and Sarah his Wife and William
Butterfeild and Sarah his Wife one Guinea each to buy them
Rings and to Mr Thomas Wells of Ludgate Street London
Mercer and John Goodman Butcher and Mary his Wife one
Guinea each to buy them Rings and to Mr Benjamin
Nuthall of King's Lynn in Norfolk the sum of Twenty
pounds for his Trouble in assisting my Executrix herein
after named in the Execution of this my will which I desire
he will do And I do hereby give and bequeath unto my
kind and loving Friend Abigail Smith spinster now living
with me at Islington aforesaid the sum of Fifty pounds
to be applied and disposed of in such manner as she with
the Advice and consent of the said Samuel Shease if living
at the time of my Decease shall think fit And I also give
and bequeath unto the said Samuel Shease the Sum of 
Fifty pounds to be applied and disposed of in such manner 
as he with the Advise and Consent of the said Abigail 
Smith if living at the time of my Decease shall think fit And
as to all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my personal
Estate of what kind or nature soever and wheresoever after
payment of my just Debts Funeral Expences and the Legacys
above mentioned (which are to be paid in six Months after
my Decease) I do give and bequeath the same Residue and
every part thereof unto the said Abygail Smyth her Executors
Administrators and Assigns absolutely and for Ever And I give
deviseand bequeath unto the said Abigail Smyth All my
Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate To hold
the same and every part thereof unto the said Abigail
Smyth her Heirs and Assigns for Ever And I do make ordain
constitute and appoint the said Abigail Smyth sole Executrix 
of this my last Will and Testament And do hereby revoke
and make void all former and other Wills by me made And
do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal
this Twenty second day of December in the nineteenth
year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the second
and in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand seven
Hundred and Forty five  Mary Pyke  Signed sealed 
published and declared by the said Mary Pyke the Testatrix 
as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us
who in her presence and at her request and in the presence of 
each other have subscribed our Names as witnesses thereto Rebecca
Maxey, John Maxey, Geo Baskerville


This Will was proved at London before the Worshipful
William Strahan Doctor of Laws surrogate to the Right Worshipfull
John Bettesworth also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary
of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted the
third day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand 
seven Hundred and Forty five By the Oath of Abigail Smyth
spinster the sole Executrix named in the said Will To whom
Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattells and Credits 
of the Deceased was granted being first sworn duly to administer
