I Elizabeth Pyke of Staddon Hill in the Parish of Northam in the County of
Devon do make this my last will and Testament as follows I give and bequeath
to my eldest nephew Narcissus Henry Hatherly fifty guineas lawful money of
the Coin of Great Britain to be paid at the expiration of six months after my
decease and also a large embossed silver Candle Cup I give and bequeath to my
nephew John Hatherly all my Silver Coins with a piece of Barb Gold I
give and bequeath to my nephew William Collins Hatherly my largest silver
???? box and my silver spectacles which his mother gave me I give and 
bequeath to my nephew Charles Edmund Hatherly my Silver Funnel I 
give and bequeath to my niece Catherine Dorothy Hatherly my Diamond 
Necklace my pair of Diamond Earrings with Drops or Stones of a Pink Colour
three in each my diamond Cross Hoop Diamond ring my embossed Silver CoffeePot
embossed silver stand for the same also my white Dinnity Bed and window 
Curtains both trimmed with a Counterpane (white) quilted in Shells also
a Damask Table Cloth breakfast Cloth and six Damask Napkins markd E L
also all that may be remaining at the time of my decease of blue and white my Nankeen
Service of China and all the blue and white china of any description either
for Dinner or Tea Service either China or Common wate I mean to be
given to my said niece Dorothy Catherine Hatherly also seven red and white
china desert Plates five red and white china cups and saucers and five red and
white china coffee cups also I give and bequeath to my niece Catherine
Dorothy my Feather Bed two pair of plated De??ntor Stands and one plated
???ffer? and stand I give and bequeath to my niece Elizabeth Fortescue
Hatherly my brilliant Diamond ring To my niece Alicia Hatherly 
two diamond pins To my niece Caroline Honoria Hatherly a Diamond 
ring set in the shape of a heart and silver tea pot and stand and to my
niece Sophia Louisa McLain my bracelets of Gold the Diamonds set with
it at my death to be given to her Father I give and bequeath my niece
Henrietta Hatherly my Gold watch Gold Earrings and gold ring with one 
diamond in it To my dear Cousin Sarah Mary Drewe I present 5
guineas for a ring with a lock of my hair and to Thomas Stafford Esqr who
I love ???st to a brother I give and bequeath my gold ring with my ever lov'd 
and revered dear mothers hair set in it To my sister in law Elizth
Hatherly I give a locket with wove hair consisting mostly of late dear Elizas hair
her beloved daughter and to my sister in law Elizth Fortescue Hatherly I give the
Ring kindly given me by late Mrs Bucke To Mrs Jane Lethbridge with a lock of
my hair I give three guineas for a ring I give and bequeath to my dear faithful
Servant Elizth Clibbett six guineas to be paid her on demand and also a
small silver piece in the shape of a hear with a Motto engraven on it ??????
to requite "too little indeed a higher recompence is her due I charge by this my
last wil and Testament all my effects with my funeral expences and all my just
debts whatever I do also by this my last will and Testament liquidate all
obligations of debts or securities of any kind from my late brother John Hatherly
and I do therefore release his heirs executors or assigns from all payment of the same
all the rest residue and remainder of my Chattels and Personal estate and effects
whatsoever (not hereinbefore disposed of) I give and bequeath to my brother 
William Henry Hatherly of the Parish of Abbotsham in the County of Devon 
and I appoint the said William Henry Hatherly my whole and sole Executor In
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seall this nineteenth day of 
October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four

								Whereas



Whereas I Elizabeth Pyke of Staddon Hill in the Parish of Northam in
the County of Devon Widow have by my last Will and Testament liquidated all obligations
of debts and securities due to me from my late brother John Hatherly deceased Now I 
hereby revoke the same and confirm my said Will in all other respects And as my
nephew Narcissus Henry Hatherly has so nobly and handsomely offered to pay me
those debts of his late Fathers I hereby exonorate him only from the same on his
paying to my nephew Charles Edmund Hatherly the sum of one hundred pounds 
of lawful money which I hereby give the said Charles Edmund Hatherly accordingly
And I desire this may be considered as a Codicil to my said will dated the thirteenth
day of November One thousand eight hundred and twenty four  Eliz Pyke  Witness

Proved at London with a Codicil 17th February 1825 before the Judge by the 
Oath of William Henry Hatherly Esqr the brother the sole Executor to whom
admon was granted being first sworn by Comon duly to admr
