This is the last Will and Testament
of me Deborah Pyke of Swanage in the County of Dorset Widow I give my
furniture plate linen china books pictures wearing apparel jewels and ornaments
and my wine and other liquors to my daughter Elizabeth Dean Bissett I give to my
Sister Elizabeth Dean fifty pounds I give to my Servant Ann Mansoin ten pounds I
give to my grandson Robert Carruthers One hundred pounds consolidated three per


cent annuities to be transferred or paid to him on attaining the age of twenty five years
and in case he shall die under that age I direct that the same shall ????????????????????
become part of the residue of my personal estate and as to the Residue of my
personal Estate I give the same to Clavell Filliter and Freeland Filliter both of
Wareham in the said County Solicitors ???????? and administrators Upon trust to
invest the same in Government or real securities ????????? to vary such securities as
they shall think fit and I direct that the said Clavell Filliter and Freeland Filliter their
executors administrators and assigns shall stand possessed of three equal fifth parts of
the said residue In trust to pay the interest thereof to my said daughter for her life so as
she may not anticipate the same And after her decease In trust to divide the principal
equally between the three children (now living) of my said daughter their executors
administrators and assigns as tenants in common to be vested interests in them at the
age of twenty one years And in case either or any of the same Children shall die
under that age Then In trust to divide the share or shares of him or her so dying
equally between the others or other of the same children in like manner as herein
before directed with respect to their original shares And as to the other two equal fifth
parts of the said residue I direct that my said Trustees their executors administrators
and assigns shall stand possessed thereof In trust to permit the same to accumulate
at compound interest until my two grandsons Benjamin Browning the younger
and John Browning shall both attain the age of twenty one years when I direct
that the said two fifth parts together with the accumulations thereof shall be
equally divided between them my said two grandsons But in case either of them
shall die before they both attain that age I then direct that the share original and
accruing of him so dying shall be paid to the survivor on his attaining that age
And in case both of them shall die before attaining the age of twenty one years
then direct that the said two fifth parts and the accumulations ???????? and
devolve to and amongst the said three children of my said daughter ??? like
manner as hereinbefore directed with respect to their shares of the said three
fifth parts of the said residue of my personal estate I direct that my said trustees
shall be the Solicitors to my trust property and as such notwithstanding ?????
acceptance of the trusteeship be allowed all professional charges which ??????
as Solicitors to my trustees not being themselves trustees they would respectively be
entitled to make And I direct that my trustees may deduct and ???tually allow to
each other all disbursements and expences incident to the execution of my Will
and shall be responsible each for his own acts and defaults only and irresponsible
for losses occurring without wilful neglect or default and shall be indemnified with
or out of my trust property against all liabilities consequential on the execution
of my Will And I direct that any and every vacancy in the trusteeship of my Will
occasioned by disclaimer resignation or death shall be supplied as soon as may
be by the appointment of a fit substitute such appointment to be made by the
continuing trustees or trustee if any or if none by my legal personal representa:
tive or representatives for the time being and on every such appointment my
trust property shall be legally transferred and assigned to and vested in the new
trustees either alone or as the case may require jointly with the continuing
or surviving trustees or trustee I direct that the trusts and powers hereinbefore
confided to my trustees therein named may be executed by the trustees or trustee
for the time being of my Will and in regard to trustees to be appointed as well
before as after the vesting of the trust property in them And I appoint the
said Clavell Filliter and Freeland Filliter Executors of this my Will hereby revoking
all other Wills and Codicils In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this
nineteenth day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred
and forty three   Deborah Pyke  Signed by the said Testatrix as and
for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same
time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other
