I Markland Pikes of London  Spinster being sick and weak
of body and calling to mind the uncertainty of this transitory
life do make my last will and Testament in manner and
forme following Imprimis I commend my soul into the hands
of Almighty God my Creator hopeing and assuredly beleiving 
through the merritts and intercession of Jesus Christ my only
Saviour and Redeemer to have free pardon and forgiveness
of all my sinns and as for my worldly goods and Estate it
hath pleased God to bestow upon me after my debts and
Funerall expences shall be discharged I give and bequeath 
as herein after is expressed ?????????????itt to the Earth 
to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix here
after named First I give and bequeath unto Mrs Elizabeth
Ireland now living in Dublin in Ireland the sume of five
pounds Item I give devise and bequeath unto Mrs Hannah
Pindar Wife of Mr John Pinder the sume of Fifteen pounds and to her said husband the sum of twenty shillings
Item I give devise and bequeath unto Mrs Sarah Markland
Widdow the sume of one pound Item I give devise and 
bequeath unto my Cousin Nathaniell Fowler the sume of 
Ten pounds and to his Wife Mrs Anne Fowler the sume of 
Tenn pounds and to his Daughter Anne Fowler the sume 
of Five pounds and to his John Fowler the sume of five
pounds Item I give devise and bequeath unto Richard 
Goodman of St Brides Hatmaker whatever he owes me
All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate both reall
and personall I doe give devise and bequeath unto my Aunt
Hannah Fowler of the parish of Whitechappell in the 
County of Middlesex Widdow and doe appoint the said 
Hannah Fowler Sole Executrix of this my last will and 
Testament In Witness whereof I the said Markland Pikes 
have hereunto sett my hand and Seal the fourth day of 
November in the seventh year of the Reigne of our
Soveraigne Lady Anne by the grace of God of great
Brittain France and Ireland Queen Defender of the 
Faith &c Annoq Domini one thousand seven hundred and
Eight  Markland Pikes  Sealed Published and Declared by
the testatrix as her last will and Testament in the PREsence 
of us Wm Pinder  Kath Leppington  Sarah Lancaster
