I William Pike of the Town and County of Poole Marriner being in
health of Body and of Sound and perfect memory, and understanding, thanks be therefore rendered
to Almighty God, nevertheless considering the uncertainty of time, and the certainty of Mortality
do (in the fear of God) make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament (that is to say) principally
and first of all, I recomend my Soul into the hands of God, who gave it, and my Body to the Dust
and as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to Endowe me (after my
Debts, and Funerall Expences are paid and Discharched) I give devize and dispose of the same in
manner and form following, that is to say,

First of all I give devize and confirm unto my loveing Mother Susannah Pike all that my
Messuage Tenement or Dwelling House with the Maulthouse Outhouses Lands Hereditaments and
Appurtenances thereunto belonging Scituate lying or being High Street within the Town and County aforesaid
and now in the Tenure or Occupation of me the said William Pike and Susannah Skinner Widow.  To have
and to hold the said Messuage Tenement or Dwelling House Maulthouse, Outhousees Lands Gardens
and all and singular other the premisses and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto my said Mother
Susannah Pike for and dureing the Term of her Natural life, together with all the Household goods that
was her own, And from and after her decease I further give devize and bequeathe unto my loveing Wife
Hannah Pike All that my said Messuage Tenement or Dwelling house Maulthouse Outhouses Lands Gardens
and all and singular other the premisses with the appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and
to hold the said Messuage Tenement or Dwelling house with all other the premisses and Appurtenances
unto my said Wife Hannah Pike for and dureing the Term of her Natural Life Also I further
give and devize unto my said Wife Hannah Pike all and singular my Goods Chattels Credits and
personall Estate for and dureing the Term of her Naturall Life Whom I do also hereby make
and Ordaine my whole and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby chargeing
my said Estate with all my Debts to be paid by my said Executrix as soon as may be out of my said Estate
and from and after my said Wifes decease I further give and devize the same real and personall Estate
as followeth, That is to say I give devize and Confirm all that my aforesaid Messuage Tenement or Dwelling
house Maulthouse Outhouses Lands Gardens Hereditaments and Appurtenances to the same belonging unto
my loving Son William Pike his Heires and Assignes forever To have and to hold the same Estate and
premisses with the appurtenances unto my said Son William Pike his Heires and Assignes forevermore
he paying out of it unto my Daughters herein after named to each of them Thirty pounds a piece That is to say
to my loving Daughter Jenny Pike Thirdy pounds sterling to my loveing Daughter Hannah Pike Thirty pounds
sterling to my loving Daughter Susannah Pike Thirty pounds sterling to my loving Daughter Sarah Pike
Thirty pounds sterling and also to my loving Daughter Mary Pike One Hundred pounds sterling And I do
hereby Charge my said Messuage Tenement or dwelling house with the payment of the severall sumes of
money above last mentioned also I further give and devize unto and equally to be divided and parted
between my said Five Daughters (to wit) Jenny Pike Hannah Pike Susannah Pike Sarah Pike and Mary Pike
(after my said wifes decease) all and singular my Goods Chattells Credits and the personall Estate and I do
hereby Elect desire and appoint my loving uncle Thomas Guest and my friend William Miller to be my Friends
in Trust to see that this my Will is duly & truly performed and for their care therein I give to each of them
Five shillings allowing them theire reasonable Expences and I do also hereby revoke all other Wills by
me Made and do confirm this to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seale the Twenty Nineth day of June in the year of our Lord Christ One Thousand
seven hundred and forty one

as and for my last Will and Testament in the presence of those whose hands
are hereunder written who subscribed their names as witnesses thereto
in my presence and at my request
