Know all men by these presents that I Thomas
Pike of the parish of Saint Pauls Shadwell in the County of Middlesex
mariner for good Causes and Considerations me hereunto moving have
made assigned ordained and authorized and by these presents in my stead
and place putt and Constituted my trusty dear and welbeloved wife Mary
Pike the bearer hereof to be my true and lawfull Attorney irrevocable for
me in my name and to my use to ask and receive and if occasion be to sue
for levy and recover of and from all and every person and persons
whatsoever and wheresoever all and singular such debts rents wages
ticketts salaries pentions Legacies Duties dues Summe and summes of
money and all other goods chattells claimes and demands whatsoever
which now are or which at any time or times hereafter shall be due owing
or in any wise belonging unto me Giving and hereby granting unto my
said Attorney my full power and authority both for the obtaining and
discharging of the premisses Ratifying and hereby Confirming all and
whatsoever my said Attorney shall lawfully doe or cause to be done both
for the obtaining and discharging of the premises by virtue of these
presents And in Case of death I the said Thomas Pike do make and
declare my last will and testament in manner and form following (that
is to say) all and singular my Estate goods chattells debts wages pay and
Creditts whatsoever I give devise and bequeath unto my said deare and
welbeloved wife Mary Pike and to her heirs and Assignes To hvae and to
hold for ever whom I appoint Executrix of this my last will and testament
In wittnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the thirteenth
day of September Anno Domini One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Six
and in the second year of the reigne of Our Soveraigne Lord James the
Second (by the Grace of God) King over England &c Thomas Pike Sealed
and Delivered Read and Declared in the presence of the mark of Temperance
Rawling Nich Mann Sr at new Crane Wapping Sam Wills his servt
