In the Name of God Amen
I Thomas Pike the younger of the town and County of Poole
Mariner being in perfect health and of sound mind and memory
Blessed be God therefore Do make and Ordain this my last Will
and Testament in manner and form following First I will that
all my just debts and Funeral Expences be paid and discharged
Also I give and bequeath unto my Loving Wife Elizabeth Pike
All those two Farms or Estates commonly called of known by the
names of Coomb Bissett and Easthayle Farm Scituate lying and
being in the Parish of Coombe in the County of Wilts together 
with all and singular the houses Outhouses Edifices Buildings
Gardens Orchards Lands Meadows Grounds Pastures Inclosures 
Commons Profitts Comoditys Emoluments Hereditaments and
Appurtences whatsoever to the said Farms or Estates or either of
them belonging or in any wise appertaining To hold unto my
said Wife her Executors Admors and Assigns Also I give and
bequeath unto my said Wife all and Singular my Houshold
Goods and Furniture whatsoever And in case I shall happen to
dye leaving any Child or Children by me begotten on the Body of 
my said Wife or in Ventre sa mere who shall be after born alive
Then my will is and I do hereby give unto such Child or 
Children all and Singular other my Goods Chattells Effects and 
substance whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore given
and bequeathed which shall at the time of my Decease be due
owing payable or in any wise belonging unto me But in case
I shall dye leaving no Child or Children by me begotten or in
ventre sa mere as aforesaid Then I give and bequeath all and 
singular the remainder of my said Goods Chattells Effects and
substance whatsoever so given unto such Child or Children as
aforesaid unto my honoured Father Thomas Pike whom I do
hereby appoint my whole and Sole Executor of this my last 
Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett


my hand and seal the fourth day of April in the year of our Lord
Christ One thousand seven hundred and thirty seven.  Thos Pike 
Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testator to be his
last Will and Testament in the presence of  Wm Page Hannah
Page W Daman

This Will was proved at London the thirteenth day of 
November in the year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred
and Forty before the Right Worshipfull John Bettesworth Doctor
of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of 
Canterbury lawfully constituted By the Oath of Thomas Pike the
Father and Sole Executor in the said Will named to whom 
Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattells
and Creditts of the said deceased being first Sworn by Comission
duly to Administer
