I Thomas Pike of Tavistocke in the Countie of Devon yeoman beinge sicke of
bodie but whole of mynde and perfect of remembrannce Thankes bee given unto
Almightie God Doe here ordayne make and declare this my last Will and Testamt
in manner and forme followinge (vizt:) First I Committ my Soule to Almightie
God my Creator and Jesus Crhsit my blessed Redeemer through whome and in
whose merritts I hope to enioye everlastinge Joye in his Kingdome of Blisse And my
bodie I Committ to Christian buryall Item I give and bequeath to the poore people
of Tavistocke aforesaid Tenn shillinges Item I give to Thomsin my Daughter three
kyne Tenne poundes and the Tenement called Isle-shill lyinge and beinge wTHin
the parish of Tavistock aforesaid for and duringe all such tyme and number of
yeares which are yet to come and unexpired of the Tree lyves nomynated
uppon the Lease of Indenture for the said Tenement All the rest of my goods and
Chattells not before given nor bequeathed I doe hereby give and bequeath unto
Johan Pike and Katherine Pike my Sisters whome I ordayne and make my Joynt
Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament In witnes whereof I have caused
this to bee made and have hereunto put my hand and seal the fourteenth Daie



of March in the Two and Twentith yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord
Charles the Kinge Majestie that nowe is &c Anno Domini One Thowsand Sixe
hundred fortie six Signed pradick Thomas Pike Sealed and published in the
presence of Richard Trowte Thomas Bloy
