This is the last Will and Testament
of me Sophia Pike of Forebridge in the Parish of Castle Church in the
County of Stafford Spinster as follows I desire that my body may be decently
interred in the same Grave in which the mortal remains of my departed
Sister Charlotte Maria Pike are deposited I give and bequeath to my friends
Eliza Jemmett of Albion Place Blackfriars in the County of Surrey Spinster
and her Sisters Ann Jemmett and Phoebe Jemmett of Kensington Town in
the County of Middlesex Spinsters the sum of twenty pounds per Annum
Bank Long Annuities equally to be divided between them as tenants in common
which I beg them to accept as a trifling mark of my affectionate remembrance
I give and bequeath to my friend The Reverend Doctor Henry Weedall President
of Oscott College near Birmingham the sum of twelve pounds per Annum
Bank Long Annuities upon trust nevertheless for the sole and separate
use of his Sister Louisa the Wife of       Davidson apart from any
husband during her natural life and after her death I give and bequeath
the same Bank Long Annuities unto the said henry Weedall his executors
administrators and assigns for his and their own use and benefit on condi
tion that no demand be made on my estate for rent or the use or occupation
of the dwellinghouse in which I now reside (it being the intention and
desire of my late friend Mrs Mary Frith Widow deceased the late Owner
of the same dwellinghouse that I should reside therein rent free during my
life I give and bequeath to my faithful domestic Servant Ann Deakin if she
shall be in my service at the time of my decease the sum of ten
pounds per annum Bank Long Annuities for her own absolute use and
benefit but if the said Ann Deakin shall die in my lifetime then I give
and bequeath the said sum of ten pounds per Annum Bank Long Annuities
unto Mary Deakin of Bridgeford in the Parish of Leighford Widow (the
Mother of the said Ann Deakin) I give and bequeath All the Rest and
residue of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my
friend Thomas Philp of Albion Place aforesaid Gentleman for his own absolute
use and benefit And I appoint the said Thomas Philp sole Executor of this
my last Will and testament and I hereby revoke all former Wills In witness
whereof I have hereto set my hand this first day of July in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five  The Mark of  Sophia
Pike   Signed and also published and declared by the said Sophia Pike the testatrix as and to be her last
will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at
her request in her presence and in the presence of each other hereto subscribe
our names as witnesses  Jas G Iiern of Stafford Solr  William
B Kidder his Clerk

Proved at London 22nd April 1850 before the Worshipful Joseph
Phillimore Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the Oath of Thomas Philp 
Esquire the Sole Executor to whom Admon was granted having been first
Sworn duly to Administer
