This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah
Pike of Nassau Street in the Parish of Saint Marylebone in the County of Middlesex
Spinster It is my particular wish and desire to be buried in Saint Marylebone Old
Church Yard in the same Grave with or near that of my late Father and Mother I
give and bequeath unto my Niece Maria Sarah Pike the sum of one thousand 
pounds in the Parliamentary Stocks or Funds of Great Britain called the three
pounds ten shillings per Cent Bank Annuities I give and bequeath unto my Brother
the Reverend Josiah John Pike the sum of five hundred pounds three pounds ten
shillings per Cent Bank Annuities I give and bequeath unto Sarah Pike spinster 
and also unto Josiah Pike the two surviving Children of the late Josiah Pike
of Tetbury in the County of Gloucester Nephews of my late Father the sum of two
hundred pounds each like three pounds ten shillings per Cent Bank Annuities I
give and devise all that my third part or share of and in the Freehold Estate situate
at Southgate in the County of Middlesex which belonged to my late Father with
the newly erected buildings and improvements thereon and Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto and to the
use of my Sister Elizabeth Ann Pike and my Brother William Pike their heirs and 
assigns for ever I give and bequeath the sum of eight hundred pounds three pounds
ten shillings per Cent Bank Annuities unto my Brothers the said Josiah John
Pike and William Pike their executors administrators and assigns upon the Trusts
and for the purposes hereinafter by this my Will declared (that is to say) Upon Trust 
that they the said Josiah John Pike and William Pike and the survivor of them
and the executors and administrators of such survivor do and shall during the life 
of my Sister Charlotte Sophia now the Wife of Captain John Sykes pay the
interest dividends and annual produce of the said Stock to such persons for such 
intents and purposes and in such manner as my said Sister Charlotte Sophia by 
any Note or Writing Notes or Writings under her own hand shall from time to 
time whether covert or sole and notwithstanding her coverture direct or appoint so
that no such direction or appointment be made by anticipation and for want of 
such direction or appointment Then upon Trust to pay the same into her own 
proper hands for her own sole separate and peculiar use and benefit and exclusively 
of and without being anywise subject or liable to the debts intermeddling or control
of her present or any future husband And I declare it to be my Will that the receipt 
or receipts in writing of my said Sister Charlotte Sophia or of the person or persons
to whom she shall so as aforesaid direct the said Interest dividends and annual 
produce of the said Stock to be paid shall from time to time whether covert or sole 
and notwithstanding her coverture be a good and sufficient discharge and good
and sufficient discharges for the same or for so much thereof as in such receipts


respectively shall be expressed or mentioned to be received and from and after the
decease of my Sister Charlotte Sophia Upon Trust that they the said Josiah John
Pike and William Pike and the survivor of them and the executors and administrators
of such survivor do and shall assign and transfer the said sum of eight hundred pounds
three pounds ten shillings per Cent Bank Annuities and the Stocks Funds and
securities for the same unto such of them my said Brothers Josiah John and
William and my said Sister Elizabeth Ann as shall be living at the decease of my
said Sister Charlotte Sophia in and by equal shares and proportions if more than
one and if only one of them shall be then living then the whole thereof unto such only
survivor his or her executors administrators or assigns absolutely I give devise
and bequeath all that my Leasehold House Messuage or Tenement and Premises 
situated in Nassau Street aforesaid formerly called Suffolk Street in the said 
Parish of Saint Marylebone with the Appurtenances unto my said Sister Elizabeth
Ann Pike her executors administrators and assigns absolutely subject to the rents 
and covenants payable and to be performed in respect thereof I also give and bequeath
all my share or Interest (the same now being three fifth parts or shares or whatever
share or Interest I may have therein at the time of my decease) of and in the
Household Furniture which was in or about the Dwellinghouse of my late Father 
numbered 7 in Nassau Street aforesaid at the time of his decease And also all such 
plate and furniture as I have purchased since his decease unto my said Sister 
Elizabeth Ann Pike her executors administrators and assigns absolutely I also give
and devise all that my Copyhold Messuage or Tenement and Premises situate on
the North side of Goodge Street in the Parish of Saint Pancras in the said County
of Middlesex and numbered 18 with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto
my said Sister Elizabeth Ann Pike for and during the term of her natural life
subject nevertheless to and charged and chargeable with the payment of an annuity
or yearly sum of twenty pounds of lawful money Great Britain which I hereby
give and bequeath unto my Cousin Frances  Grenfield Nippress of Bridgewater in
the County of Somerset Spinster during her natural life and from and after the 
decease of my said Sister Elizabeth Ann I give devise and bequeath my said
Copyhold Messuage Tenement and Premises in Goodge Street aforesaid with the
Appurtenances Subject o the said Annuity of twenty pounds during the continuance
thereof unto and to the use of my said Niece Maria Sarah Pike her heirs and
assigns for ever And I direct that the said Annuity or yearly sum of twenty pounds
shall be paid and payable unto the said Frances Grenfield Nippress by equal
half yearly payments and that the first payment thereof shall begin and be
made at the end of six Calendar Months next after my death and that the receipt
and receipts only of the said Frances Grenfield Nippress shall be a sufficient 
discharge and sufficient discharges for the same
                    I give and bequath unto my Sister the said Elizabeth
Ann Pike the sum of five hundred pounds three pounds ten shillings per Cent
Bank Annuities and unto my Brother the said William Pike the like sum of 
five hundred pounds like Annuities and I give and bequeath each of my
Servants who shall be living with me at the time of my decease the amount of one years
Wages respectively together with the further sum of of three pounds each for 
Mourning And as to all the rest Residue and remainder of my Real and 
and personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature
kind or quality soever not hereinbefore by me disposed of and which shall remain
after payment and satisfaction of all my just debts Funeral and Testamentary expences
and the several Legacies given by this my Will and which I shall give by any
Codicil to this my Will or by any Testamentary writing whatsoever I give devise
and bequeath the same and every part thereof respectively unto my said Brothers
Josiah John Pike and William Pike and my said Sisters Elizabeth Ann Pike
and Charlotte Sophia Sykes their heirs executors administratos and assigns according 
to the different natures and qualities thereof respectively to and for his and their own
respective use and benefit as Tenants in common and not as joint Tenants and I do 
hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Brothers the said Josiah John Pike &


William Pike and my Sister the said Elizabeth Ann Pike joint Executors and
Executrix of this my Will And lastly hereby revoking and making void all former
and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made I publish and declare this only
to be and contain my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Sarah
Pike the Testatrix have to three first sheets of this my Will contained in four sheets
of paper subscribed my name and to this fourth and last sheet thereof subscribed my name and affixed my seal this third day of February in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.   Sarah Pike  LS
