The xv th daye of Auguste Anno Dni 1561 I Margaret Pike of Wyecrofte widowe beinge
of perfecte remembrance Do Ordeine and make my laste will and testamente as Followithe
First I Comyte my soule to almightie god and my bodie to be buried yn the Churche of Axmynster
I do Ordeine and make John Frye Esquor my brother in lawe my sole Executor Itm I give unto my
Daughter Elizabeth Pike one hundred Poundes so that she be ordred and Ruled in her marridge
by my said Executor and the more parte of myne ovrseers and if she will not be Ordred nor Ruled
as is aforesaide or if she die before marydg then I geve the same hundred Poundes to the said John Frie and
to my sister Johane his wief And my will is that the said hundred poundes shalbe paide to the said
Elizabeth my Daughter at the Daie of her marriadge or wtin one yere nexte Followinge If
she willbe ordred and Ruled as is aforsaid Itm I Ordein and make John Stawell Nycholas
Halsewell & Water Stratohle Esquiors my ovrseers to ayde and Assiste my sead Executor In the
Execucon of this my presente last will and testament Itm all my Apparell bedinge and houshould
stuff of wyecrofte and mrlynche I geve to the said Elizabeth if she be Ordred and Ruled in
marryadge as is Aforsaid by me Margaret Pike
