I Judith Pike of Richmond Surrey spinster do this tenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and thirty four appoint Mr John Noyce of Richmond Surrey Gentleman my sole Executor to transact order and fulfull all and every of this my last Will and Testament I request that no relation of mine or any person employed by one or more of them interfere or intermeddle with any of my affairs desires or bequests herein named or any arrangement made with my property by my executor that person or persons so intefereing I desire shall lose all benefit and bequest of this my Will I request to be buried in one of the Church Vaults of this parish if the fee do not exceed the sum of Ten Guineas I request my funeral to be conducted in a decent and respectable manner according to the order and will of my executor and as soon as Circumstances will permit I desire my executor to take possession of all my property and to sell the whole of my furniture and effects that belong to me at my dwelling house two pier glass's at Mrs Charles Kew lane and my furniture and effects at Miss Bisshopp's Richmond Green or any elsewhere (excepting those articles that are written on or labelled to whom they are to be given and the articles and furniture hereafter named) and with the monies arising therefrom to pay all my just debts my funeral and testamentary expences and bequests first I bequeath to my executor John Noyce a ring such a one as he shall choose he having refused any other bequests for all his kindness to me for near forty years and for the trouble required by me of him in these my last requests I also bequeath to my dear niece Mary Bennett the sum of ten pounds for a ring also to my niece Frances Hammond the sum of five pounds also to my niece Ann Edwards the sum of five pounds to my dear and kind friend Sarah Noyce the wife of my executor the sum of five pounds for a ring to my dear and kind friend Jane Jeffcott the sum of five pounds for a ring to my true and faithfull servant Sarah Layton whose kindness and attention to me in my old age has been unremitting and should that attention and care of me continue and she remain my servant at my decease I bequeath her the sum of Ten pounds together with my small bedstead and furniture bed and bedding belonging thereto with the sheets and coverlids a chest of drawers six chairs and a table now in the kitchen and after all the above payments made the bequest and desires strictly complied with I give the Remainder and Residue to the aforenamed Sarah Layton my servant and make her my residuary legatee I do hereby make there were not at such time any such articles whatever labelled and that the only articles of which the deceased died possessed which were written upon consisted of Two prints framed and glazed which were valued and appraised by a sworn appraiser named Norris at the sum of twelve shillings upon which prints was written the name of Mr John Bennett one other print framed and glazed which was appraised at the value of Two shillings and six pence upon which was written the name of Miss Charlotte Browne and two other prints framed and glazed which were appraised at the Value of eight shillings upon which was written the name of Mrs Noyce the wife of this Deponent and he saith that the several names so written upon the said prints respectively were written upon the paper which was pasted at the backs of the frames of the same and were not capable of being detached there from and that the said prints have been delivered to the persons so named thereon respectively John Noyce On
