In the Name of God Amen
I John Pike of Huntingdon Street Hoxton in the parish
of Saint Leonards Shoreditch and in ye County of
Middlesex being through the Mercy of God of a perfect
Memory and sound mind yet Considering the 
uncertainty of this mortal Life do make and
declare this my Last will and Testament in the manner
and form following First I give my Soul to God
who gave it in hope of Pardon for all my Sins
through the Blood and attonement of the Lord
Jesus Christ believing he is able and willing
to Save to ye uttermost all that Come to god by
him my Will Father is after my Decease is 
that my Leasehold Houses Goods wearing apparell
and all I am possest of of what kind soever it be
sold as soon as they conveniently can and ye produce to be
applyed as follows first all my Lawful debts and
funeral expences paid and   what remains
as follows to my Sister Ann Hopkins now of 
Bugden Huntindonshire and to my Sister
Hannah Stratton of the same place and to my
Niece Susannah Hopkins of the same place
and to William Amsley of Huntingdon Street Hoxton 
in ye Parish of Shoreditch aforesaid these above
Four Legatees to have Equals  share and share
alike but if Either one of them should die before
my decease the whole to be divided Equal between
the remaining three and if two should 
	die to be equal
	between the remaining 
	two and if a third
  dies ye
Survivor to have all I appoint Mr James Elisha
of the City Road Bricklayer Executor of this my
last Will and Testament and for ye trouble he
may be at I alow him Ten Pounds this Will
Revoke all former Wills made by me of No
force In Witness whereof I set my In Witness
whereof I hereby set my hand and seal this thirty
Day of November 1801  John Pike  LS Signed
Sealed and Declared by the said John Pike the
Testator in the presence of us who have hereunto
Subscribed our Names as witnesses  Witnesses

This Will was proved at London the
twenty third Day of December in the year of Our Lord
One thousand Eight hundred and two before the
Worshipful Charles Cootz Doctor of Laws and
Surrogate of the Right Honorable Sir William
Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or
Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury
lawfully Consituted by the Oath of James 
Elisha the Sole Executor named in the said Will
to whom Administration was granted of all and
singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the
said Deceased having been first Sworn duly
to administer
