29 December 1855 Will of John Pike of Plymouth, Devon, Lieutenant (proved 2 August 1856)

I John Pike of Charles Place in the Borough of 
Plymouth in the County of Devon a Lieutenant in the 6th Royal Veteran
Battalion do hereby revoke all Wills Codicils and other Testaamentory dispositions
made by me at any time or times heretofore and do declare this to be my last Will
and Testament I give devise and bequeath all and singular my real and 
Personal Estate and Property of what kind nature or kind soever & wheresoever 
situate of which I shall be seized or possessed or to which I shall be any way
entitled at the time of my decease subject to the payment of my debts and funeral 
and testamentary expences unto Mary Wotton Woolacott Spinster now residing with 
my as my domestic Servant To hold the same respectively unto her the said Mary
Wotton Woolacott her heirs executors administrators and assigns according to the 
nature and quality thereof respectively for her own absolute use and benefit And 
I nominate and apopint the said Mary Wotton Woolacott sole Executrix of this 
my Will In witness whereof I the said John Pike have hereunto set my hand 
and seal this twentyninth day of December One thousand eight hundred and fifty
five   John Pike    Signed and Sealed by the above named John Pike in
the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have 


hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses thereof  W Marshall Plymouth
Gentleman  G M Tripe 56 York Street Plyouth

Proved at London 2nd August 1856 before the Judge by the Oath of 
Mary Wotton Woolacott Spinster the sole Executrix to whom Admon was granted 
having been first sworn by Comon duly to administer
