In the Name of God Amen I
John Henry Pike of Princes Street in the Parish of Lambeth in the County
of Surrey being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and declare this
to be my last Will and Testament in the manner following (that is to say) I 
order all my just debts funeral expences and the charges of proving this my
last Will to be in the first place fully paid and satisfied and after paying thereof
I give and bequeath unto my dear Wife Ann Pike All my Goods and Chattels 
and Property whether the same consists of money out at interest on Govern-
ment or other Security Book and other Debts Household Furniture Plate Linen
Wearing Apparel ready money and all my other Estate wheresoever & what
soever both Real and Personal for her own sole use and benefit And I likewise
hereby express my wish and desire that my said Wife shall and do carry on my
business of Book Clasp Maker for her own benefit And I hereby appoint nomi-
name and constitute my said Wife Ann Pike and Thomas Buckney of Camberwell
in the County of Surrey Timber Merchant Executrix and Executor of this
my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills
by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and 
Testament In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this ninth day of
January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty

Appeared Personally Mary Ann Bussan of No 8
Oxford Arms Passage Warwick Lane Newgate Street in the City of London 
Spinster and made Oath that she is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last will
and TEstament of John Henry Pike late of Princes Street in the Parish of Lambeth
in the County of Surrey deceased now hereunto annexed beginning thus "In the Name
of God Amen I John Henry Pike of Princes Street in the Parish of Lambeth"
ending thus "this ninth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand


eight hundred and forty" and thus subscribed "John H Pike" and having observed
the date of the said will to be in the year One thousand eight hundred and forty
she further made Oath that the same is so written therein by error the day
on wihch the said deceased executed the said will being the ninth day of 
January One thousand eight hundred and forty one on which day the said
deceased signed his name thereto in the presence of her this deponent and of
Emma Bussan the other subscribed witness to the said Will they being both
present at the same time And they this deponent and the said Emma Bussan
subscribed their named thereto int he presence of the said Testator and of each
other as Witnesses thereof  Mary Ann Bussan  On the 5th day of Mary 1841
the said Mary Ann Bussan was duly sworn to the truth of this Affidavit

Proved at London 8th May 1841 before the Worshipful John Danbeny Doctor of 
Laws & Surrogate by the Oaths of Ann Pike Widow the Relict & Thomas Buckney
the Executors to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to admr
