In the name of God Amen
I Edmund Pike of Merton in the parish of great Bedwin in the Countie of Wiltes
Gentleman beinge in perfect health and memory Doe make and ordayne this my last
Will and Testament Imprimis I give my Soule to God my Creator and Redeemer
And my bodie to bee buryed in Christian buryall Item I give to my eldest Sonne
Edmund Pike All my goods and Chattells my Estate reall and personall Whatsoever
Whome I make my Whole and sole Executor Item my Will and pleasure is That
Edmund Pike my Sonne shall settle and convey to such Friends in trust as hee shall
thinke fitt That Tenement in Shalbourne lately bought of Collyer for the benefitt
of my Daughter Elizabeth Plummer and her Children accordinge to his discretion
In witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the Fowerth Daie of
May in the yeare of our Lord God One thowsand six hundred fortie eight per me
