30 January 1806 Will of Benjamin Pike of St Thomas's, Southwark (proved 17 February 1807)

In the Name of God Amen
I Benjamin Pike of the Parish of St Thomas's
Southward and Butler of St Thomas's Hospital being
in perfect Memory do make this my last Will
and Testament as follows vizt To my beloved wife
Jane Pike all her Goods which she brought to me
at our Marriage also whatever Monies is due
arising from the Estate and also the pentonville
Bonds at my decease also I Give her Ten pounds 
from the policy of Insurance in the Amicable
Society soon as it is paid also my Watch Seal and
Chain I Give to my Son Benjamin Pike Ten pounds
to be paid out of my policy with all my wearing 
apparel and I also make Thomas Pike and 
Mary Pike equal share and share alike of
Monies arising from the above mentioned Policy
but all my Furniture in Household property I
Give to my Daughter Mary Pike for her sole
use It is my desire to leave the care of my
Funeral to my beloved Wife and children that
this my Will may be properly fulfilled I appoint
my Son Thomas Pike and Mary Pike my Daughter
joint Executors thereof Janry 30th in the year
of our Lord 1806 Benjn Pike (LS) Witness

This Will was proved at London
the Seventeenth day of February in the year of 
our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Seven 
before the Worshipful Samuel Pearce Parson Doctor of
					    Laws


Laws and Surrogate of the Right Honorable Sir
William Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master
Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of
Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of 
Thomas Pike the Son of the deceased and Mary
Pike Spinster the Daughter of the deceased and
the Executors named in the said Will to whom
admon was granted of all and singular the Goods
Chattels and Credits of the said deceased having
been first sworn duly to administer
