In the Name of God Amen
I Anna Maria Pike of London  Widow being weak in body
but of sound mind and memory do make and declare this my last Will
in manner and Forme following First I commit my Soul into the hands
of Almighty God who gave it my body to the Earth to be decently
interred according to the discrecon of my Executors and as to that
Worldly estate which God in mercy hath blessd me withall I give and
dispose the same in manner following Imprimis all that my house
Tan Yard and premisses in Southwarke menconed in the Will of my
late Husband Robert Pike I give devise and bequeath the same
to my loving Daughter Henrietta Maria Tantum and her Husband



Joseph Tantum to the same and the Several users menconed in
the said Will to be the mind of my said Husband Item I give and
bequeath unto my loving Grandchild Anna Maria Pike Daughter
of my late son Robert Pike Deced the Sume of one hundred and Fifty
pounds but my mind and Will is that the same shall remain and be
in the hands of my Son in Law Joseph Tantum and his Wife Henrietta
Maria Tantum without Interest for during and untill she my said
Grand-daughter Anna Maria Pike shall arrive at the age of one
and Twenty yeares or day of marriage ^ Then I give and bequeath			^ Provided always that if she
the said Sume of one hundred and Fifty pounds to my said Son			  my said Granddaughter shall
and Daughter Joseph and Henrietta Maria Tantum in Trust for 			  dye before she shall arrive at
the use and benefit of such Child or Children of my said Son and		  the age of one and twenty
daughter Joseph and Henrietta as shall be living at the time of my		  years or day of Marriage
said Grand-daughters decease share and share alike Item I give
and bequeath unto my Two Executors hereafter named the Sume
of Fifty pounds to be disposed of by them in the same manner as the
Sume of fifty pounds was ordered by my late Husband into the
hands of our Freinds at Devonshire house Item I give the Sume of five
pounds to the poor of the Womens Meeting at Devonshire house
Item I give and bequeath unto my Several Relacons hereafter
named the particular Sumes following (vizt) To Sarah Chippington
the Sume of Fifty pounds To my Uncle Bode and his Wife and
Seaven Children the Sume of five pounds apeice to my Cousin Gossett
the Sume of Ten pounds to Cousin Sarah Collins the Sume of Five pounds
and her Daughter one pound to Cousin Parker and her Son One Guinea apeice
to Cousin John Hasher the Sume of Ten pounds to Sister Mary Cunningham
the Sume of Ten pounds to John Brittain and his Wife one Guinea apeice
Item I give and bequeath unto my loving Freinds Thomas White Edward
Walker John Dennis Abraham Gomer Margaret Ashford Martha
Fallowfeild John Hugsow George Chalkly and John Knight the Sume of
Five pounds apeice provided alwaies and it is my mind and Will that the
Sume of Ten pounds abovemenconed to be given to my Cousin Gossett shall
be paid her by my Executors hereafter named or one of them by Twelve
pence per Week every week weekly or otherwise in such manner or proporcon
as they or either of them shall think fit Item I give and bequeath 
unto Martha Fallowfeilds Sister the Sume of Three pounds Item I give
and bequeath unto my loving Freind Thomas Eedes the Sume of Ten
pounds for the Care I expect from him in assisting my Son in Law Joseph
Tantum (at his request) in the Execucon of this my Will Item all my
Linnen plate Jewells Rings household goods and also all and every part
of the Remainder of my estate both in Goods or Chattells where or
howsoever not herein and hereby before by me disposed I give devise
bequeath unto my loving Daughter Henrietta Maria Pike and I doe
nominate constitute and appoint my said loving Son Joseph Tantum and
Thomas Eades to be the only Executors of this my last Will and Testament
hereby revoking all former and other Wills or Codicils by me heretofore
made and I doe hereby declare this to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof to this my last Will and Testament contained in
this Single Sheet of paper I have subscribed my name and affixed
my Seale         this Twenty Fourth day of March Anno Domini
1719 And in the Sixth year of the Reigne of our Soveraigne by the 
Grace of God of great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of



the Faith &c  Maria Pike  Signed Sealed published and declared
by the said Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence
of us who have subscribed our names in the presence of the said Testatrix
after the Interlineacon of the Word (and) and the word (my) and the word
(or) and the word (goods) and the Word (Son) in the Will abovemenconed

	March 26th 1720
Whereas I Anna Maria Pike Widow having made
my last Will and Testament dated on or about the Twenty Fourth Instant
and being now minded to make some addition to the bequests therein doe by
this my Codicil which I declare to be as part of my last Will and taken to
to be such declare as followeth Imprimis I give bequeath and devise
unto my Daughter Henrietta Maria Tantum all my houses and Lands
in Burnham and Southminster Copyhold and Freehold To hold to her
my Daughter Henrietta for and during and untill my Grand-daughter
Pike shall arrive unto the age of one and Twenty yeares or day or
marriage I also give and devise all the Rents and profits thereof untill
the time or times aforesaid unto my said Daughter Henrietta And after
such marriage or Age of my said Granddaughter then I give and devise
the same and every of them to her and her Heires for ever Provided my said
Grand-daughter Pike shall dye before the time or times aforesaid
Then I give and devise the same to my said Daughter Henrietta Maria
Tantum In Trust to and amongst such Child or Children of my said
Grand-daughter Tantum as shall be living at the time of the decease
of my said Grand-daughter Pike Share and Share alike I do by this
my Codicil mean and intend all my houses and Lands in Essex or
elsewhere In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seale
the 26th March Instant abovewritten 1720  Maria Pike
Sealed and delivered and Signed and declared to be the mind of
the said Anna Maria Pike after the Interlineation of the words
(of my said Grand-daughter Tantum and Signed ?? us in the 
presence of the said Anna Maria Pike  John Dennison The
marke of Nich: Lethersege Eben: Tull Girdlers hall

Probatum fuit [this paragraph continues in Latin to grant probate at London
on 27 May 1720]
