PIKE - Died suddenly at his residence, Topsail, on Thursday, January 16th, Clifford W., in his 56th year; leaving to mourn his wife, Sybil; two daughters, Judy (Mrs. Donald Tilley), Gloria (Mrs. Wm. Evans); three sons, John, Robert and Gary at home; four grandchildren, one sister, Millicent (Mrs. Walter Tobin) at Manuels; two brothers, Lee and Angus; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayward W. Pike of Topsail. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. Funeral services at Topsail United Church on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
PIKE - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex, July 24th., Hayward W. Pike, aged 85 years of Topsail. Leaving to mourn: his loving wife, Maude; one daughter, Millicent (Mrs. Walter Tobin); two sons, Leigh at Toronto and Angus at home; one brother, Harvey; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Pretty and Mrs. Margaret McKay and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; also a large number of relatives and friends. Remains resting at Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Funeral Service 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 27th. at the United Church, Topsail. Interment at the United Church Cemetery, Topsail.
PIKE - Passed peacefully away at the Grace General Hospital, September 8th, Charlotte Maud Pike (nee Fowler), Topsail, aged 86 years, wife of the late Hayward Pike. Leaving to mourn one daughter Millicent (Mrs. Walter Tobin) Manuels; two sons Angus at home, Leigh and wife Beatrice at Topsail; daughter-in-law Sybil, wife of the late Clifford Pike; 3 sisters Millicent Vail, Boston; Laura Pearce, Boston and Jamie Baird, British Columbia; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; 2 step-grandsons John and Eugene, Ottawa; also a circle of relatives and friends. Remains resting at Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Funeral to take place on Saturday, Sept. 10th at 2:30 p.m. from the United Church, Topsail. Interment at Topsail.
PIKE, Sybil I. (nee Butler) - Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Complex on Friday, July 29, 1988, in her 68th year, of Topsail. Leaving to mourn three sons: John and Gary at home, Robert and wife Cindy of Long Pond; two daughters: Judy (Mrs. Don Tilley) of Long Pond and Gloria (Mrs William Evans) of Evergreen Village; sister Peggy (Mrs. Charles Randell); seven grandsons; several nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 1081 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl from 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30. Funeral service at a time to be announced. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Left with fond and loving memories: one brother, Leigh and friend Rosie; one sister, Millicent Tobin, Manuels; special nephew John. Also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews until noon Monday. Funeral to take place on Monday, Nov. 18 at the United Church, Topsail. Interment at the United Church cemetery, Topsail.
