Also, if you are a male Pike/Pyke (or you know one) who may be willing to do a genealogical DNA test, then please check out the Pike DNA Project for which I am a volunteer coordinator. There are several Pike/Pyke families that are not yet represented in the project, and for whom participants are wanted.
The following photos were taken on 28 August 2004. I worked my uphill on the north side of the cemetery (going back and forth along the way), and then downhill on the south side of the cemetery. Clicking on a thumbnail below will take you to the full image (taken with my digital camera set at "medium-2 super-fine" mode).
Although I did take photos of every Pike headstone I managed to find, I don't claim that this is a complete set of images for the Pike tombstones in the cemetery. For instance, I was expecting to find Harvey B Pike (who died on 18 November 1994), but I didn't find him.
For those headstones that have exact death dates, I have searched for obituaries. For all but one of these stones I was able to find an obituary. I have transcribed these obituaries and put them online on this webpage.

These photos show the burial site of Harvey Buller Pike (1899-1994) and his wife Phoebe Morgan (1899-1955).
