The conference will be taking place at the former St Martin's College
in Ambleside (now part of the University of Cumbria),
in the Lake District

Arriving by train: the nearest railway station is Windermere, approximately 5 miles away. Trains operate to Windermere from Oxenholme–Lake District, which has direct trains to/from London Euston, Birmingham New Street, Manchester Piccadilly and Glasgow Central and many other UK railway stations. Typical journey times:
Arriving by coach: National Express operate coach services to Ambleside, from a variety of UK locations, including London and Birmingham. Arriving by air: the nearest airport is Manchester Airport, from where there are direct trains to Windermere. Arriving by car: Ambleside is easily reached from the M6 Motorway, via the A590 and A591 from junction 36. Parking is available on the St Martin's campus, and is free for those attending the conference. |
