I joined the Dept. of Mathematics, Memorial University, Canada as Assistant Professor in August 2008. Before joining Memorial, I was SHARCNET post-doctoral fellow in atmospheric modelling at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences , University of Waterloo, Canada.
I obtained PhD in computational Mathematics with a specialization on turbulence from McMaster University, and MSc in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) from the University of Alberta, Canada.
My present research concerns modelling, understanding, and simulating environmental and industrial flows. More specifically, I am interested on space-time interemittency of coherent motion in the atmosphere.
