Welcome to Dr. Ye's homepage. Currently, I am a Full Professor with Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Memorial University of Newfoundland (since September 2021).

I received my B.S. degree from Shandong University (Ji'Nan, ShanDong, China) in 2000, and continued my mathematical education at Zhejiang University (HangZhou, ZheJiang, China). In 2004, I became a Ph.D. student in the department of mathematics at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH. I got my Ph.D. degree in August 2009 under the guidance of Dr. Stanislaw Szarek and Dr. Elisabeth Werner.

During the academic year of 2009-2010, I was a postdoctoral fellow working with Dr. Alexander Koldobsky and Dr. Mark Rudelson from the department of mathematics at University of Missouri, Columbia. I held a Fields-Ontario postdoctoral fellowship from July, 2010 to June, 2011. My supervisors were Dr. Benoit Collins and Dr. Matthias Neufang. I joined the faculty of Memorial University of Newfoundland in July 2011. I was (early) promoted to Associate Professor in September 2016 and (early) promoted to Full Professor in September 2021.

Read these (three) public articles about my research results on "Entanglement thresholds for random induced states" (jointly with G. Aubrun and S. Szarek).

My paper "The dual Orlicz-Brunn-Minkowski theory" (jointly with R. Gardner, D. Hug, and W. Weil) was awarded the 2017 JMAA Ames Award.

Currently, I am an Associate Editor of the Canadian Journal of Mathematics and Canadian Mathematical Bulletin (from January 2024 to December 2026). I was a member of Scientific Organizing Committee of the 2022 CMS summer meeting.
