["1913" appears atop the page but I believe this meeting took place in 1914] Minutes of Annual Vestery Meeting of "All Saints Church" English Hr which was held in the school room February 20th at 7 PM 1 The Rev J J White was present and was Chairman of the meeting, and a good many representives of the Congregation 2 The Chairman opened the meeting with prayer 3 Minutes of last meeting read and adopted 4 Churchwardens accounts read and accepted showing Receipts $70.59 Expenditure $61.30 Balance $ 9.29 5 The Sexton's list was then read by Mr Alexander Barnes (Sidesman) amounting to $13.85 (thirteen dollars eighty five cents) 6 The Readers list was being read by Mr John F Penney (sidesman) showing $23.15 7 The Contribution towards the assesment was than read by Mr Henry Geo Batson (Member of Finance Committee) showing amount for year $107.50 8 The Chairman than read a letter from the Rev G H [looks like "Bolt"] (Sec Tres) dealing with some difficulty that occured in the first money that was collected for the Mission. The matter is now set right leaving a sum of $283 to the Missions credit. 9 Chairman read Rules relating to Church Wardens and Vestries 10 Chairman re-elected Mr Benjamin Penney as his Warden for coming year 11 Proposed by Mr Alexander Penney (Joseph) seconded by Mr Wm Jas Penney (Richd) that Mr Francis Penney be Peoples Church Warden for year carried unanimously 12 After some discussion about a sexton it was proposed by Mr Benjamin Penney seconded by Mr Francis Penney (Jas) that Mr James Batson (George) be sexton for coming year (amendment) that Mr James Batson should receive $14.00 if made up carried 13 Proposed by Mr Ernest Penney seconded by Mr Albert Batson that Wm George Penney be sidesmen (carried) 14 Proposed by Mr Wm Batson (Wm) seconded by Mr Ernest Penney that Mr Albert Penney be reelected as sidesmen carried 15 Proposed by Mr Alexander Barnes sec by Mr Benjamin Penney that Mr Albert Batson be reelected (sidesman) carried 16 Proposed by Wm Batson Wm seconded by John F Penney that Mr John Penney (Charles) be elected (Sidesman) carried 17 Proposed by Mr Herbert Barnes sec by Mr Wm Batson Wm that Cemetery Committee be re-elected carried 18 Proposed by Mr Obadiah Penney seconded by Mr Alexander Penney (John) that a donation of $5.00 be paid Miss S [an initial appears here... it looks like it might be a "G" or "Q"] Batson for services as Organist carried 19 Proposed by Mr Alexander Barnes sec [a horizontal appears here] that a vote of thanks be tendered the Church Wardens for services during the past year carried 20 Nothing further was brought before the meeting was closed by singing and Doxology and Bendiction Adopted Jany 25 1915 James J White Ch'man
