The Minutes of last Annual Vestry Meeting, also the Minutes of a Meeting
held Novr 4/97 was then read and confirmed

The Chairman then read the Act of Synod relating to Church Wardens,
Vestries, & Etc.

Read Church Wardens Acc for the Past year

        Receipts        $ 28.62
        Payments        $ 28.47
                            .15 in Hand

leaving a debt of $8.14 due the Reader
        &  "   "  $4. 7  "   "  Sexton

The 15 [a cent sign appears here] in hand was what Mr Charles Penny Paid
for a stove grating he took

Read the amount of Church dues to Synod

The Chairman than Nominated Mr Wm Batsons Wm as his warden

Moved by Robt W Facey seconded by [blank] that Mr Alex Penny Jno
be reelected (carried)

Moved by Joseph Penny seconded by Alex Penny Jno that Peter Penny &
John Facey collect Fish next Summer from the Shore Fishermen toward
Church Expences.        carried

Moved by Francis Penny Seconded by Wm Batson that Joseph Penny (Rich) be
reelected Sexton        carried
