In the Name of God Amen
I Thomas Young of the Towne of Poole Mercht being sick and
weake in body but of sound and perfect mind Memory and understanding
(praysed be almighty God) and remembring the uncertainty of this
Mortal Life doe make this my Last Will and Testament in manner
following that is to say) First and Chiefly I recommend my Soul into
the hadns of Almighty God my Creator hopeing thro' the Meritts Death
and passion of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ to
receive full pardon of all my Sins and to inherit Eternall Life my
body to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executors herein-
-after named and my Worldly Estate I dispose of as followeth Imprs
I Give devise and bequeath unto my loveing Wife Elianor Young all
that my Messuage Tenement or Dwelling House in which I now live
Together with the Household goods Linnen and Plate therein or which
I shall have at my decease To Hold to her for and dureing soe long
time as she shall continue a Widow (an Inventory whereof shall be
immediately taken) and from and after her decease or Marriage I
give and bequeath the same to my son Thomas Young (Vizt) the said
Messuage or Tenement Houshold goods Linnen and Plate) To Hold to
him and his assigns for and during his naturall Life and from and
after his decease I give the same and every part thereof to be
divided to and amongst such of the Children of my said son as shall
then be liveing share and share alike and if either of them dye
before the attaining the Age of One and Twenty yeares that such
Childs share shall goe to and amongst the Survivors.  Item I give
unto my said Wife the summe of One Hundred pounds to be paid her
by my Executors within One Month after my Decease.  Item I Give


and devise unto my said loveing Wife One Annuity or yearly summe
of Five and Twenty pounds per Ann to be paid her halfe yearly for
and during her Widowhood by my Executors hereinafter named out of 
my personall Estate herein after gave to them which said Annuity is in
liew of her Thirds at Comon Law and in Case my said Wife doth or
shall Claime her Thirds of any of my Lands or Tenements my Will Then is
that the said Annuity shall immediately cease and the devise thereof to
her void.  Item I give and bequeath unto my said son Thomas all that
Messuage or Tenement in which he now lives with the Garden Outhouses
and Appurtences To Hold to him for and dureing his naturall Life, and
from and after his decease To his Wife for her Widowhood and from
and after her decease or Marriage to goe to and amongst such of their
Children as shall then be liveing and in Case either of them dye before
his her or their attaining the Age of One and Twenty years that then
such Childs share shall goe to and amongst the Survivors.  Item I give
and bequeath unto my Sons in Law Aron Durell and John Green and to
my Kinsman William Cleeves all that my Messauge or Tenement 
scituate at Woolson in the Parish of Corfe Castle in the county of Dorsett
with the Gardens Lands and Hereditaments thereunto belonging To Hold
to them and their Assignes and to the Survivors of them for and dureing 
the naturall Life of my said son Thomas upon this Trust and confidence
That they pay to and account for the Rents Issues and profitts thereof
yearly to or to the use of my said son and from and after his decease
I give the said Messuage Lands and premisses to Frances his Wife
for and dureing her Widowhood, and from and after her Marriage 
or decease I give the same to and amongst such of the Children of my
said son as shall then be liveing share and share alike, and if either
of them dye before their attaining the Age of 21 yeares That then
such Childs share shall goe amongst the Survivors.  Item I give unto
my Sister Eliz Christian Five pounds to buy her Mourning.  Item I give
to my Son in Law David Durell ths summe of One Hundred pounds to be
paid him within Six Months after my decease.  Item I give unto my
Daughter Eliz Bayly and to my Son in Law John Durell and to his
Wife each a Gold Ring and to Mr William Cleeves a Gold Ring of
Twenty shillings Value.  Item I give to my Daughter Mary Durell and
Joane Green a Silver Salt a peice.  Item I give to my said son Thomas
all my Wearing Apparell both Linnen and Woollen.  All the rest
residue and Remainder of my personall Estate Goods Chattells rights
and Creditts whatsoever I Give devise and bequeath unto my Son
Thomas and to my Daughters Mary and Joane equally to be divided 
between them Share and Share alike subject to the payment of my
Wifes annuity.  And I make them full and sole Executors of this my Last
Will and Testament hereby revokeing all former Will and Wills
Testament and Testaments by me at any time made.  moreover I give
to Joane Bayly Five pounds to be paid her by my Executors before
herein named within Six Months after my decease In Wittness where
I have hereunto set my hand and seale this Twentieth day of October
in the year of our Lord Christ 1716.  (Tho: Young)  Signed sealed

Testament in the presence of  Timothy Bird  Mary Miller  Tho Stokes
