In the name of God Amen I William Williams of the 
Towne and County of Poole beinge of good and PERfect Remembrance 
thankes bee given to god Doe make and Ordayne this to bee my last Will and 
Testament in manner and forme following First I Commend my Soule into
the hands of the Almighty God my Onely Saviour and Redeemer hopeinge to 
bee saved by the   previous Death and passion of Jesus Christ my only 
Lord and Saviour and Redeemer and to have Resurreccon both of body & 
Soule in the Kingdome of Heaven this is my hope layde upp in my heart 
I desire my body may bee buried by my Father when itt shall please God to
								     call mee


Call mee out of this Miserable life And as Concerninge my worldly goods and
things the which itt hath pleased God to leave and bestow on mee I doe Give 
grant Will and bequeath in such PARticuler manner as heerafter in these prsents 
itt is sett downe and declared That is to say First I doe Gyve unto ye Poore 
the Sum of Tenn shillings Item I doe give grant Will and bequeath unto 
my sonne John Williams that Messuage or Tenement now in the tenure of 
Phillipp Stovell with all the Outhouses and garden belonginge unto itt 
for his Naturall life And after him to his heires lawfully begotten for evr 
Alsoe I Gyve my sonne John Williams that house that my Sister Ann Dennes 
now lyveth in with all the houses and gardens belonginge unto itt 
accordinge to the Coppye thereunto belonginge and accordinge to the Cus-
-tome of that manner of Canford Alsoe I Gyve and bequeath unto my sonne
John Williams the house I now lyveth in for his naturall life with all
the Outhouses and garden with the Implements not given from itt and 
after his death to his heires lawfully begotten for ever Alsoe I Gyve unto my sonne 
John Williams that Tenement in Pillory Streete with the Bakehouse and 
Outhouses and garden for his naturall life and is now in the tenure of my
daughter the widdower Hooper and her assignes and after his death to his 
heires lawfully begotten for ever Provided that my daughter Phillepen Hooper 
shall quietly enjoy the same house and Bakehouse for her widdowes 
Estate and after to her sonne William Hooper for his naturall life
they well repayringe itt and payinge my sonne John or his heires twenty 
shillings PER yeare or Ten shillings halfe a yeare so longe as they enjoy itt 
Alsoe my will is that if my sonne John Williams should depart this world
without issue That my sonne Richard Williams shall not bee his brothers 
heire without hee give good Security not to depart from the Religion 
now established in the Church of England And also to give good Security 
not to Sell itt from his heires but to leave itt to them well repayred dan-
-gers of Fire Excepted Item I Gyve unto my sonne Richard Williams
all the Lands within Towne and without that I bought of George Locker 
for his naturall life and his wifes widdowes Estate And after them to his 
heires lawfully begotten for ever Provided they make good the Lease to 
Christopher Penny And the Lease att the Forrest to James Lanne Alsoe 
my sonne Richard Williams is to have Petthares after Mrs Mepelmoth
accordinge to the Custome of the Manner of Canford PER me William
Williams this Tenth of September 1653  Alsoe I Gyve unto my 
sister Anne Dennes six pence a weeke as longe as shee lyveth All
the rest of my Goods and Chattells Debts Moneyes of myne whatsoever 
my Debts beinge paid my Legacyes PERformed and Funerall Expences 
discharged And my Sick Childe Alce dePARted out of this world I Gyve 
equally and Ratabley to bee PARted and divided betweene Phillippen
Hooper   Elizabeth Fiford Hanna Rogers my daughters and 
Cisley Gardener my grandchilde And I doe nominate Constitute 
and make Richard Fiford my sonne in law my Executors of this my 
last Will and Testament for his paynes his Charges beinge borne out 
of the whole I doe Gyve him the best mare I have left behinde mee 
Alsoe I doe Entreate nominate and appoynt my Good friends Mr
James Percivall and Mr James Grandey to bee Overseers of this my
last Will and Testament to see the same PERformed And I Gyve to them
Fyve shillings a peece And desire them my Children nor none of 
them not to goe to Lawe without the Consent of my Overseers And 
then I hope all will be in peace In Witnesse whereof I the said 
William Williams have heerunto putt my hand the Tenth of Setpembr
1653 PER me William Williams the Day above   Item I Gyve unto 
my sonne John Williams Revercon att Ham after the Custome of the Mannor of Ham
  and is his after the widdowe Oakleyes widdow Estate as the Coppy will
shew and after my sonne Richard Williamd and his wifes widdoes Estate

Item I Gyve unto Richard Fiford my sonne in lawe the house and ground hee now possesseth
for his wifes life and his brother Richard Williams life as appeareth by the lease and 
is in full of Thirty pound promised in Marriage when his brother Fiford shall
pay her Thirty poundes for his Revercon Alsoe my wife is to have Fyve pound
a yeare so longe as shee keepeth her selfe a Widdowe as PER the writings betwixt 
us will shew with my bond to her and my wives bond to mee Alsoe my will is 
to have the great Chest I bought of Symon Wester Adn the Trunke which 
Goods I Gyve to her daughter Margarett Bushell my wife is to deliver my Exe-
-cutor all my Goods and Chattells att the Mill Also all my houshold stuffe not yet 
given with the great Fornace with the Leaden Cesterne shalbee my Executors
to helpe pay my Debts and Legacyes if neede requires but not to bee removed if
my sonne will pay for itt and give bond to leave itt in the house And if there 
bee no need to sell itt to pay debts Then let itt remayne to the house for the 
heire of John Williams Alsoe that all the land that I have given to my sonne 
John Williams heires bee putt to Rent by my Executor and soe much Rent as is 
Cleered to helpe maintayne my sick daughter Alce the Overplus to John Williams 
as longe as hee lyveth Alsoe I Gyve unto William HooPER my Grandchilde the 
Lease of Clavell ground with the other Fursey grounds Joyninge unto itt now 
in the tenure of Widdowe Ross And if god take away him then to his Mother and 
Sisters with all the Implements that belongeth unto the bakehouse Alsoe I
Give unto the said William HooPER the ground I bought of Sr John Banks with ye 
Banre I built upon itt for his life and after to his Mother and Sisters Item
I Gyve to Cisley Gardener my Grandchilde that ground I bought of William
Cowringe as the Lease will appeare now in the tenure of Richard Ford 
Per me William Williams the Tenth of September 1653

This will was proved att westminster before 
the Judges for Probate of Wills and graninge of Administracons lawfully Authorized 
the Sixteenth Day of March In the yeare of our Lorde God 1654 By the Oathe 
of Richard Fiford the sonne in law and sole Executor named in the said
Will To whom was Committed Administracon of all and singuler the goods
Chattells and Debts of the said Deceased Hee beinge first Sworne by Commission
truly to Administer the same
