In the name of God Amen: I William Williams thelder of the towne and Countie of Poole being sicke in bodye but of good and PERfect remembrance thanckes be given unto Almightie god Doe make & ordaine this to be my last will and testament in manner and forme followeinge First I comend my soule into the handes of Almightie god my onely saviour and Redeemer hopeinge to be saved by the death and passion of Jesue Christe my Lorde and onely saviour and Redeemer, and to have a resurrection both of bodye and sowle in the kingdome of heaven this is my hope laide upp in my harte my bodye I commit unto the earth wherof it is framed to be buried in discretion of myne overseers and freinds when soever it call please God to call me out of this mortall lyfe and as concerninge such worldlie goods and thinges which it hath pleased god to lend and bestowe on me I doe give graunte will and bequeathe in such PARticular mannr as hereafter in theis pnts itt is sett downe and declared, That is to saie First I doe give and bequeath to the PARishe Church of Sainct James in Poole ten shillings currant money of England more I give unto the poore people of the towne of Poole the some of ten shillings of like money to be distributed to and emonge them in discretion of myne Overseers Itm I doe give graunte will and bequeathe unto my sonne William Williams and his heires for ever those two Messuages or tenementes wth the owtehowses gardens and appurtenances unto evrie of them belonginge lyeing in the towne of Poole one of the same Messages I nowe dwell in being in Thames streete and thother Tente lieth in Pillorie streete in the same towne and is now in teanure of widow Roberts and her assignes And I doe give and bequeathe unto my said sonne Willm Williams the one Moyetie and iust halfe parte of my Barke called the George of Poole with the moietie of all the rigging, mastes, sailes, roapes tackle furniture and ap- parrell unto her belonging, more I give and bequeath unto my said sonne William Williams Fortie poundes of currant money of England Item I doe give and bequeathe to my lovinge wief Alice and unto William Dennis her sonne the moietie or iust halfe parte of that Barke called the Alice and the moetie and haulfe parte of the tackle furniture and apPARell now unto her belonging equallie to be parted betweene them And I doe give unto my my saied wief the use and benifitt of Fortye pounds lawfull money of En- gland for and duringe her naturall life And from and after her decease I doe give will and devise the some of Fortie pownds vizt the same Forty pownds unto the nowe three Children of William Dennis equallie to be parted betweene them and the survivor and survivours of them And I doe give graunte and dispose unto Anne Dennis my daughter and unto Mary Pynnell my daughter during their naturall lives equallie to be devided betweene them that some of Fiftie pownds currant money of England which will growe due and paieable unto me from one William Lockier of kinson, uppon and for the redemption of those lands and tenents being in the high streete in Poole by him and his sonne sould and mortgaged to me and the same money being so paied and receyved, then alsoe I doe give graunte and dispose the same Fiftie pownds after the decease of my said two daughters to and emong the now Children of the said Anne and Marie equallie to be parted and divided betweene them and the surivors of them And in case the said lands mortgaged to me by the said William Lockier and his sonne shall happen to beome forfaited, Then I doe in such case and condicon give graunte and dispose all the same fower messuags or Tents with the Gardens and appurtinancs thereunto belonging so sould uppon Condicon to me by the said Wm Lockier and his sonne unto my said daughters Anne Dennis and Marie Pinell for and during their naturall lives equallie to be devided betweene them And after their decease I doe give graunte Will and bequeathe all the same fower Messuages and Tents Gardens and appurtinances unto the nowe Children of my said daughters Anne Dennis and Marie Pynnell and their heires for ever equallie and proportionablie to be parted and divided to and emong the same my twoe daughters chil- dren & their heires for ever with the writing therof and the benifitt of the said mortgage Item I doe give will and dispose unto my said two daugh- ters Ann & Marie for and duringe their naturall lives the some of Thi- tie powndes currant money of England which one Henrie Lockier and others doe owe unto me by bond as principall money the same money to be paied them as it shalbe paied in and recorded from my said debtors And after the decease of my said daughters I doe give and bequeathe the same thirtie pounds to and emong the Children of my said two daughters Anne and Marie equallie to be parted emong them and the survivors of them Item I doe give unto Elizabeth Williams daughter of George Williams my brother the some of Five pounds which money shalbe paid unto her so soone as my speciall debtes may be had in and paied And I doe give graunte and bequeathe unto my brother Thomas Williams one Chamber in my now dwelling howse in Poole wherin he how lodgeth with ingresse egresse and regresse through the entrie of my saye howse therunto for and during his naturall life and I doe alsoe will give and dispose unto my said brother Thoms Will- iams the some of Fortie shillinges PER ann yeerelie for and duringe his naturall life to be paied him by myne Executors quarterly att fower feasts in the yeare by even porcons Item I doe give unto John Dennis the sonne of William Dennis one quarter parte of that barcke called the Anne and the one quarter parte of the Tackle furniture and apparrell unto her apperteyninge And I doe give unto Anne Williams the daugh- ter of my sonne William Williams one other quarter parte of the said Barcke called the Anne and the one quarter parte of all the tackle furniture and apparrell unto the same barcke now belonging And I doe give and bqueathe unto my wief Alice all such goods houshould stuffe ymplements and thinges which shee brought unto me in mariage and the which I hadd with my saied wife when I married her All the rest of my goods and chattells debts money plate apparrell and all other thinges of mine whatsoever my debtes being paied my legacies PERformed and fune- rall expences discharged I doe fullie and whollie give graunte will and dispose unto Alice my wief William Williams my sonne Anne Dennis and Marie Pynnell my daughters equallie and rateablie to be parted and divided betweene them which said Alice my wief William Willi- ams, Anne Dennis and Marie Pynnell I doe nominate constitute and make executors of this my last will and testament And I doe intreate nominate and appointe my welbeloved freinds William Scott and John Dibbs to be the overseers of this my last will and testament to see the same PERformed and I give to them five shillings starling a piece Item itt is my will true intent and meaninge and so I doe will determine and appointe that Alice my wief and mine executors shall give and make good and sufficient securitie by discretion of mine overseers for the annswe- ringe and satisfyeinge of all the legacies given and bequeathed unto my Graundchildren accordinge to the true meaninge of this my last will In wittnes wherof I the said
