This is the last Will and Testament
of Sarah Weymouth of Portsea in the County of Southampton 
Widow whereby I dispose of all my estate and effects and all and any
other property I have power to appoint in manner following I
give and bequeath unto my Cousin Julia Susanna Edwards the
sum of two thousand pounds sterling I give and bequeath the like
sum of two thousand pounds sterling unto my Cousin Dorothy
Gooch Widow I give and bequeath to my Cousin Ann Lucas Brown the
sum of one thousand pounds sterling I give and bequeath the like
sum of one thousand pounds sterling to my Cousin Jane Wickenden
Wickenden Wife of James Wickenden of Birmingham Surgeon
I give and bequeath to my Cousin Maria the Wife of the Reverend
Mr Sergeantson the sum of five hundred pounds sterling I give and
bequeath unto my Cousin Anne Maria the Wife of Thomas
Coventry Brander Esquire the like sum of five hundred pounds sterling
I give and bequeath unto his Son Gustavus Brander the sum of one
hundred pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto Sophia the Wife
of Daniel Howard of Portsea aforesaid Esquire the sum of four hundred
pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto Sarah Howard (the
Daughter of the said Daniel Howard the sum of three hundred
pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto my Cousin Susanna Undy
Widow the sum of four hundred pounds Sterling I give and bequeath
unto Susan Undy (the Daughter of my said Cousin Susanna Undy
the sum of two hundred pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto Ann
Reeks the sum of three hundred pounds sterling I give and bequeath
unto Mary Wright of Christchurch the sum of two hundred pounds
sterling I give and bequeath unto Mary Wright and Susan Wright
the unmarried Daughters of Richard Wright the sum of two hundred
pounds sterling each and I give and bequeath unto Gertrude Ingram



Daughter of Giles Ingram Surgeon Royal Navy the sum of two hundred
pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto the Reverend Henry Hawkes
the sum of one hundred pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto the
Reverend Daniel Gunn the sum of one hundred pounds sterling I give
and bequeath unto Margaret Wright (the widow of the late Doctor
Wright the sum of fifty pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto
    Bradley the widow of the late James Bradley the sum of fifty
pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto Charlotte Margaret Parke
(the widow of the late Captain Edward Packe the sum of four
hundred pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto Lydia Elizabeth
Butler the sum of one hundred pounds sterling I give and bequeath
unto Richard Packe (Son of the late Edward Packe the sum of one 
hundred pounds sterling I give and bequeath unto Sarah Dumain
Niece of the late John Gooch the sum of one hundred pounds sterling
I give and bequeath unto Ann Quartley the widow of the late Charles
Quartley the sum of one hundred pounds sterling I give and bequeath
unto my friend Daniel Howard the sum of three hundred pounds
sterling over and above what I am indebted to him for business I
give and bequeath unto my Servant Sarah Dean the Wife of Robert
Dean the sum of one hundred pounds sterling And I give unto the
rest of my Servants who shall be living with me at the time of my
decease ten pounds each I give and devise unto my relative David
Lucas Wickenden (Son of the said Jane Wickenden Wickenden) his heirs
and assigns All that messuage situate in Orange Street in the Town of
Portsea in the occupation of Mary Ann ???? All the Residue of
my monies and personal Estate and Effects and also all other goods
chattels and effects and property which I now have or shall at the
time of my decease have power to dispose of or to appoint under 
the Will of my late Brother David Spicer or otherwise after pay-
ment and satisfaction of my debts funeral and testamentary expen-
ces and the several pecuniary legacies hereinbefore bequeathed and
subject thereto I give and bequeath unto the said Julia Susanna
Edwards and Dorothy Gooch their executors administrators and assigns
And I appoint the said Daniel Howard Julia Susanna Edwards and
Dorothy Gooch Executor and Executrixes of this my Will And I do
hereby direct and appoint that the rents issues and profits dividends
interest and annual proceeds which I have the power of disposing 
of under the Will of my said Brother David Spicer shall be paid to
my Executors and shall form part and parcel of the residue of my
personal estate and effects and shall be paid and applied by my said
Executors accordingly And lastly I do hereby revok all other Wills by
me made and declare this only to be and contain my last Will and
Testament And it is my particular desire to be interred in the Vault
in the yard of the Chapel in the High Street Portsmouth with my
said Brother David Spicer In testimony whereof I the said Sarah
Weymouth the testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament
set my hand to this and the two preceding sheets of paper hereto
annexed this twenty seventh day of May in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and forty  Sarah Weymouth  her Mark
Signed published and declared by the said Sarah Weymouth the
testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament upon the day of the
date in the presence of us present at the same time and who at
her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have
hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses  Wm Thompson Surgeon
Southsea  Edwd Kannie Portsea  J C Parnell Solicitor Portsea

Proved at London 20th Octr 1845 before the Judge by the Oaths of



Daniel Howard Esqr Julia Susanna Edwards Spinster and Dorothy
Gooch Widow the Executors to whom Admon was granted having been
first sworn by Commission duly to administer
