In the Name of God Amen the Fourteenth day of June One Thousand and Six hundred and Eighty I George Tito of Aylewood in the Parish of Corffe Castle in the Isle of Purbecke and County of Dorsett Marriner being in health of body and perfect memory I thanke my God therefore Doe make this my last will and Testament as followeth Imprimis I give my Soule unto the hands of Almighty God my Creatour and heavenly Father thinking to be Saved only by the pretious meritts of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour And my body to the Earth from whence it came to be buried in a decent manner and not costly by my Executor here after mentioned Item as concerning my Lands moneys and Goods which my Lord in mercy hath lent mee I dispose thereof (that is to say) I give unto my Sonne Thomas Tito Fiftie pounds I give unto George Franklin my Godson the Tenement I now live in And when he cometh to enjoy it he most give unto his Sister Mary Tito Franklyn Twentie pounds I give unto George Gould my Grandchild the Tenement which was Mr Groves and when he cometh to enjoy it he most give unto his sister Mabell Gould Twentie pounds which said Two before mentioned Tenements I give that I now live in to the said George Franklyn and to his heirs and assignes for ever and the other which was Mastr Groves I give unto the said George Gould his heires and assignes for ever Item I give unto my daughter Rebeccah Tito my Land att Corffe Castle aforesaid To have and to hold to her & heires and Assignes forever Item I give unto my said Daughter Rebecca Tito all my houshold goods which shall be found in my House att the tyme of my death except such Goods as doe belong to my wife and were propperly hers before I married with her Item I give unto my wife Dinah Tito all my Lands lyeing att Woolgerston To have and to hold the same lands to her for and during the Terme of her naturall life Item I give unto my Daughters Mary Franklin and Margarett Gould, Rebecca Tito and Joyce Dolbury Twenty shillings apeece Item I give unto my Sonne in Lawe Richard Gould one hundred pounds whome I doe by these presents make my whole & Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And And I doe desire and appoynt my Sonne in Lawe John Franklyn and Joshua Wiseman to be overseers of this my said last Will and Testament and for theire care and paines to be taken therein I give them Tenn Shillings apeice And as to all my lands & Tenements lyeing and being within the parish of Christchurch Twyneham in the County of Southt I give to all my Grandren except to the fore- -named George Franklyn and George Gould the rents issues and profitts thereof to be equally divided betweene them my said Grandchildren theire heires and assigns for ever the said George Franklyn and George Gould nor either of them to have any part of porcon thereof Item I give to Robert Tito Sonne of David Tito sixteene pounds and unto Joane Tito and Elizabeth Tito his sisters Tenn pounds a peece Item I give unto Mary Crooke daughter of William Tito Tenn pounds Item I give unto Thomas Tito and David sonnes of David Tito five pounds a peice Item I give unto Roger Gould my Grandsonne Twentie pounds and unto Richard Gould his brother tenn pounds and unto Thomas Gould his brother Tenn pounds Item I give unto George Titns Franklyn my Grandchild fortie pounds and unto Mary Franklyn Elizabeth Franklyn Thomas Franklyn and John Franklyn my Grandchildren Tenn pounds a peece Item I give unto William Dolbury my Grandchild Tenn pounds In witnesse whereof I the said George Tito have hereunto sett my hand and Seale and published this to be my last Will and Testament the Day and yeare above written in the presence of Memorandmum I the said George Tito doe order and appoynt that if there shall happen to be any moneys come to my said Executor hands over and above to satisfie all my before mentioned Legacyes that such overplus of moneys after my said severall legacies paid shall be equally given and devided amongst all my Grandchildren Georg Tito Sealed published and declared to be the last Will and Testament of the said George Tito after the postscript in the presences of Joshua Wiseman George Oliver Sarah Wiseman Memorandum Also That whereas I have given unto my Sonne in Lawe Richard Gould by this my last Will and Testament the Summe of one hundred pounds my will and meaning is that my said Sonne in Law Richard Gould shall have the benefitt and interest of the said Summe of one hundred pounds for and during the term of seaven yeares next and immediately after my decease and then the said summe of one hundred pounds to be equallie devided and paid unto my fower Grandchildren Richard Gould Roger Gould Thomas Gould and Mabell Gould and to the Survivour and Survivors of them the children of my said Sonn in Lawe Richard Gould and Margarett his now wife and daughter of me the said George Tito Probatum fuit Testamentum suprascriptum [this paragraph continues in Latin and appears to grant probate on
