In the name of God Amen I John
Spence of the Towne and County Chirurgion being sick in body but in good
and perfect memory thankes bee to God Doe make and ordaine this my
last Will and Testiment in manner and forme following (That is to say)
First I Doe bequeath my Soule to the Almighty God in Jesus Christ 
my Body to bee buryed And for my worldly goods I give as followeth First I give 
Robert Spence my Brother 10s and Edward and Roger my other two Brothers 
5s a peece And as for my Land at Longham and in the Towne of Poole I give 
it equally to bee devided Betweene Francis my wife Jane my Daughter John
Spence my sonne and Thomas Spence my sonne and as for the rest of my goods plate Bonds 
householdstuffe Apparrell moveables or unmoveables I give to bee equally
Devided and I Doe make my Children all Joint Executors of this my last Will
								    and


And Testament and for my Overseers of this my Will to be performed I 
??????? my good freinds Mr ??? George Scutt Mr Roger Martin and for their 
paines each of them 10s I give Alsoe I give 20? to the poore to bee Disposed of by
my wife when she shall thinke good to those that want which I desire may bee 
performed In witnes whereof I have sett my hand and seale The Tenth

Since the writtigne of this Will I give my Father 5l and if my wife will
Ten pounds This is written wt my owne hand July the 14th 1664 when I went to 
London And to bee sent to my Fathre wt speed after my decease Alsoe I give to
my Brother halfe of all my Booke equally to bee Devided and a gould ring of 15s
