In the name of God Amen
The fifth day of December in the fifth yeare of the reigne of our
Sovereigne Lord and Lady King William and Queene Mary over England 
&c Annoq Domini one thousand six hundred ninety three I Elizabeth
Smith of the Towne and County of Poole Widow being sick and weake 
of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God therefore 
calling to mind the uncertainty of this life and knowing that it is appointed 
for all men once to dye Doe make this my last Will and Testament in 
manner and forme following vizt First and principally I comitt and
recomend my soule into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me 
nothing doubting but by the meritorious death and passion of our blessed 
Saviour to receive full pardon for my sinns and be admitted into his 
everlasting favour And my body I comitt to the earth to be buryed in 
such christian and decent manner as to my Executrix hereunder named
shall thinke most fitt hopeing at the generall resurrection to receive 
the same againe with joy And as touching such worldly estate wherewith
								it


it hath pleased God to endow me I give and bequeath the same in
manner and forme as followeth Imprimis I give and bequeath unto
Christopher Collins son of William Collins of the Towne and County of 
Poole all that my Garden Item I give and bequeath unto William Collins 
son of William Collins aforesaid one silver dish Item I give and bequeath 
unto John Collins son of William Collins aforesaid one silver spoone 
Item I give to the said William Collins his daughter Martha one gold
ring Item I give unto the said William Collins his daughter Mary one
gold ring Item I give unto the said William Collins his daughter Elizabeth
one pewter dish Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Susanna
Reeves my dwelling house with all the appurtenances and priviledges 
thereto belonging and appertaining during her naturall life time and 
afterwards to her Heires forever Item I give and bequeath unto her 
daughter Elizabeth Reeves my redd stammel coate Item I give and 
bequeath unto her daughter Susanna one plaine gold ring Item I give and 
bequeath unto her son Peter Reeves one silver spoone Item I give and 
bequeath unto my daughter Susanna abovesaid and to William Collins my
son in Law abovesaid all and singular my goods and householdstuffe except 
what above menconed willed and bequeathed as alsoe all my wearing 
apparell lynnen and woollen I give and bequeath the same unto them the
said Susanna Reeves and William Collins to be equally divided and imparted 
betweene them And I doe nominate ordaine and appoint them the said 
Susanna Reeves my daughter and William Collins my son in Law aforesaid 
to be my Executrix and Executor coequall of this my last Will and Testamt 
And my will is further that they may pay what I oweth as much as in them
lyeth And I doe appoint and nominate my loveing friends namely William
Minety and Thomas Smith of the Towne and County of Poole Merchts 
to be Overseers to see this my last Will and Testament performed And I 
doe hereby utterly revoke and make void all other former Wills guifts and 
legacies by me willed given and bequeathed ratifying allowing and confirming 
this and noe other to be my last Will and Testament In witnesse whereof
I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare above written
The handwriting of Elizabeth Smith Signed sealed published pronounced 
declared and delivered by the said Elizabeth Smith as her last Will and 
Testament in the presence of Thomas Blanchard The marke of Joane 
Turner Edward Dirham
