In the name of god Amen The xxiii day of the moneth of Septembre in the
yere of our lorde god m v c xxii in the ??? yere of the raygne of king henry the ???th I John Rowland
marchannt of the Town of Bristowe hole of mynde and memory thanke be unto allmyghtye god
make and dispose and declare my last will and testament in this maner and wise folowyng First
I geve and bequethe my Soule to almyghtie god and to our blessed lady and to all the ????
Saynts in hevyn and my bodye to be buried wtn the pshe Churche of Seint Warbrowe by my
pewe Also I geve and bequethe to our Mother Church of Wosseter ???? Also I geve and bequeth
to the high aulter of the PARisshe Church of Seint Warebrows for my tithings and oblacions negl
gently forgotten or wt ????? x?????? Also I will and ordeyn to be PERformyd and maynteyned
by this my testament and last will an honeste preest to sing and to rede and to pray for my soule
wtn the parysshe churche aforesaid by the space and termes of vii yeres medyatly ?sewyng and
folowyng yerely he to have to be paid vi????????? Also I geve and bequethe to katheyr
Rowland my wif besyds and above her own proPER goods that she brought unto me at the day of
her mariage the thirde part of all my movable goods my funrall chargs and debts pade Also I
geve and  bequethe to Johane Rowland my daughter of Amsbury towarde hir proffession ???
Also I geve and bequethe to Alys Harbare my daughter ??? Also I geve and bequethe to John
Harbare my sonne in lawe a golde ryng whiche Humfrey Brown gave unto me Also I geve
and bequethe to kateryn Browne my daughter Alys childe ??? Also I geve and bequethe

Honngerfords of Downr ambly that now dwellying in Joan Hoby wedow Also I geve and
bequethe frely to my said son John Rowland a gardyn and a stabull wt the bakesyde
and pertynng belongyng therto that I purchased of the said Sr John Hungerford beynge
in small strete joynenge to the house that I dwelle yn the whiche howse and gardeyn
above named I the said John Rowland the elder gevethe and bequethe to my said son
John Rowland to hym and to hys heres or assignes for evr more Also I geve & bequeth
to Thomas Rowland my son two tenements in small strete that late I bought of the
said Sr John Hungerford above named joynyng apon bothe sids of the howse that I gave
unto John my Son above named More I geve and bequethe unto my said Son Thomas
Rowland a gardyn grounde whiche liethe ?? the PARsonage of seint mighells the whiche 
howses and gardyn I the said John Rowland thelder frely geveth and bequethe and releese to
the said Thomas my sonn and to his heires or to his assignes for evr more All wayes PROvided
by this my last will and testament that margery Toller shall have for terme of hir
lyffe and to the heres lawfully begottyn of the said Thomas and Margery the greate
tenyment that standeth betwene the tenyment of the fore said John Rowland on the oon
syde and the tenement of Andrew Northton skynner on the other syde The residue
of all my goods not bequethed my funrall chargs deducted and my debts trewly paide
I geve and bequethe to my said sonnes John Rowland and Thomas Rowland whome
I ordeyne and make myn full executours and they to equally divyde betwene theym
the said goods by evyn prossions and godys blessing and myn In Witnessethe this of
