In he Name of God Amen I William Rose of the Town and County of Pool mariner being at this Time (praised be God) in good health of Body and of sound, and disposing mind, and memory, But calling to remembrance
the uncertainty of this frail and transitory Life do make, constitute, ordain, and declare this my last will and Testament in maner, and form following, revoving, and annulling by these presents all and every other will, and wills heretofore
by me made, and declared either by word, or in writing, This only is to be taken for my said last will and Testament. And First being heartily sorry for my sins past, and present, and humbly imploring forgiveness of the same I commend my Soul
into the hands of Almighty God, trusting for Salvation through the only merits of Jesus Christ. Next my Body I commit to the Earth to be buried in such decent and Christian maner, as to my Executors herein after named shall seem most meet,
and convenient. And as to the setling the Temporal Estate, it hath pleased God to bestow upon me, I do order, give, devise, and bequeath the same in manner and form following, that is to say, First I will and order, That all those Debts, dues,
and dutys as I owe in right or conscience to any person, or persons whatsoever shall be well, and truly satisfied, contented, and paid, or ordered and secured to paid within convenient time after my decease. And I hereby give and devise unto my sons Robert Rose and George
Rose their Heires, and Assignes for ever to be holden, and enjoy'd by them in joint Tenancy the Lands, and premisses following with their appurtenances, that is to say, the Room called the Hall, and the Chamber over the said Hall, the Stairs leading to the said Chamber,
and the Garret over, and the Stairs leading to the said Garret, the Chamber over the Cellar with the Stairs leading to the said Chamber from and out of the said Hall, also the said Cellar there under, All parts and parcells of the mansion House, wherein I now live, And
also the House, or Room on the other Side of the Entry, and the Brew House or Wash House thereunto belonging, And also the House next to the Mill Turf House and that part of the little Garden from the House lying Square with the same unto the Rails there
being in length fifteen feet of Assize and in breadth fifteen feet of Assize or thereabout, it being the same breadth of the aforesaid houses And also the great Garden lying between Henry Wheden's house, and the Garden formerly called the Bowling 
Green now in the possession of Mr Thomas Pyke and Mr George Hyde down to the waters side, and the free use of the well, and of the water in the said well, with free ingress, egress, and regress through the Entry of the said mansion House ???
into the Lane, Backside, and Alleys down to the waters side, as now used and accustomed, paying always, contributing, and allowing towards the mending, and keeping in repair the said well and the implements, and utensills thereunto belong???
and also towards the amending, and keeping in repair the Doors of, and belonging to the said Entry. Andy also I hereby give, and devise unto my daughter Mary Rogers, and her Assignes during her natural Life All that 
house next to the said well, and in which she now lodges at night, that is to say, all the lower Room, and the Chamber over the said lower Room, and the Stairs leading to the said Chamber, and also the mill, or Cole Turf
house, and that part of the little Garden, that runs from the necessary house there along by the great Turf house down to the Rails, it being in length twenty Eight or thirty feet of Assize, or thereabouts and in breadth
twelve feet of Assize, or thereabouts to the Alley, that runs down Southward to the said necessary house, and also that part of the Garden, that runs from Henry Wheden's Garden, that is next to his Turf house
it being in length sixty six feet of Assize more or less, and in breadth from the Alley leading down by the necessary house Eighteen feet of Assize or thereabouts, with ingress, egress, and regress through the Entry of the said mansion house into the
Lane, Backside, and Alley down to the waters side, and free use of the said well, and of the water therein paying always, contributing, and allowing a due share towards amending, and keeping in repair the said well, and the implements,
and utensils thereunto belonging, And after her decease I hereby give, and devise the same premisses with the appurtenances, upon the same conditions, unto Robert Rogers son of the said Mary Rogers, and to his Heires and Assignes forever.
Also I hereby give, and devise unto my daughter Sarah Holloway and to her Heires, and Assignes for ever, All that House, which one Robert Bond now liveth in, together with the Chamber, or Sail Loft over the aforesaid house
And also the little Garden going from the Sink by the well along the aforesaid house to the little Turfhouse next to Mr Alexander Smith's Turf house, at the End of the aforesaid house, which the said Robert Bond now lives in, And also
the little Turf house against the said Mr Smith's Turfhouse, and at the End of the said little Garden between the aforesaid house, and the Alley going by the said Henry Wheden's house down to the water's side, And also that part
of the Garden, that goes from the aforesaid Rails, and athwart below the said Rails that goe along by, or at the End of the said little Garden, that comes from the necessary house there, it being in breadth there from the Alley
leading by the fence, or hedge there between the said Mr Smith's Garden, and the aforesaid Turf houses down to the water's side, and in breadth from the aforeaid Alley Southwestward to the Alley, that goes by the 
necessary house there to the water's side, being there in breadth between the two Alleys about twenty eight feet of Assize, and continuting the same breadth down to the water's side, with free ingress, egress, and regress
through the Entry of he aforesaid mansion house into the Lane, and through the Backside unto the well, and the free use of the well and of the water therein, paying always, contributing, and allowing towards the mending 
and keeping in repair the said well, and the implements, and utensils thereunto belonging, and also towards the mending, and repairing the Doors of and belonging to the said Entry. Also I hereby give, and bequeath unto my
son John Rose and his Assignes one full Quarter part of and in a certain Sloopor Vessell called the John and Ann of and in which he now goeth master, and the full Quarter part of all, and singular the mast
Ropes, Anchors, Cables, Tackle, Apparell, Boat, and Furniture whatsoever to the same Sloop, or vessell belonging, or appertaining, together with all the profits thereof coming, arising, had, and made, and not before accounted 
for unto me, at the time of my decease. Also I hereby give and bequeath unto my son Robert Rose, and his Assignes three sixteen parts of the Ann and Mary Brigantine with the appurtenances and all profits thereof had and made, and not before accounted unto me
for, at the time of my decease. Also I hereby give and bequeath unto my son George Rose, and his Assignes five sixteen parts of the John and Mary Sloop, which he goes in, and three sixteen parts of the Ann and Mary Brigantine with their appurtenances
and all profits of them had and made, and not before accounted for unto me, at my decease. Also I hereby give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Rogers, and her Assignes one sixteenth part of the John, and Mary Sloop with the appurtenances, and all
profits thereof had and made, and not before accounted unto me for, at the time of my decease, which with the sixteenth parth, she had before of the same makes her to have two sixteen parts of the said Sloop.  Also I hereby give and bequeath 
unto the said Mary Rogers one sixteenth part of the Desire Brigantine that Robert Rose goes in, with the appurtenances, and all profits thereof had and made, and not before accounted unto me for, at my decease. Also I hereby give, and bequeath
unto my daughter Sarah Hollaway, and her Assignes one sixteenth part of the said Desire Brigantine with the appurtenances, and all profits thereof had, and made, and not before accounted unto me for, at the time of my
decease. Also I hereby give and bequeath unto the said Sarah Hollaway my Silver Cup commonly used in, and about my house. Also I hereby give, and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Thompson the Sum of Thirty pounds
of good and lawfull money of Great Britain over and above the share she is hereinafter appointed to have with her Sisters, she having had no part or Interest given her of and in the houses and Lands   aforesaid. And also my will
and desire is, That my just debts, funeral Expences, the Charges of proving my will (as soon as possibl) and the drawing up, and returning into the spiritual Court a due, and just Inventory being first paid and discharged, what ever sum
or Sums of money shall, or may be found in House at my decease, and what ever moneys shall, or may be abroad, or shall or may be due, and owing unto me on any Bonds, Bills, mortgages, or otherwise howsoever be justly, and equally
divided between my three daughters Mary Rogers, Elizabeth Thompson, and Sarah Hollaway share and share alike, and I do hereby order, give, and bequeath the same accordingly unto them. Also I hereby give and bequeath
unto my sons Robert Rose and George Rose jointly between them my great and little Furnaces, that are in the Brewhouse or wash house aforesaid. moreover, all and every other part and parts of the said Ann and Mary Brigantine not
herein before in anywise given, and bequeathed, I hereby give and bequeath the same with the appurtenances, and all profits thereof had and made, and not before unto me accounted for at my decease, I hereby give and bequeath
the same unto my said daughter Elizabeth Thompson and her Assignes over and above the aforesaid sum of Thirty pounds, and her just, and equal share with her said sisters given her hereby as aforesaid. And Lastly all other
my real and personal Estate and Estates whatsoever, and wheresoever, and not herein before mentioned and hereby before given, devised, or bequeather, I hereby give, devise, and bequeath the same unto my sons Robert
Rose and George Rose (their Heires and Assignes for ever) whom I hereby make and ordain my sole, and whole Executors of thsi my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 
Twenty fourth   day of October   in the ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth, And in the
year of our Lord (according to the Computation of the Church of England one Thousand seven Hundred Thirty and five

amendments, alterations, and interlinings being
therein first made) as his last will and Testament
