In the Name of God Amen
I Mary Pudner of Trinity but now residing in Bonavista in the Island 
of Newfd Land North America being weak in Body but of Perfect Mind
and Memory Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is
to say First I recommend my Soul to the help of God who gave it
My body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian
Burial at the Discretion of my Executor and Friend George Robins And
touching my Worldly Estate I give devise and dispose of the following
Manner and Form first I give and bequeath all that plantation or Fishing
Room situate and being in Bonavista aforesaid commonly called or known
by the Name of Sheppards Room to Thomas and Edward Pudner Robins
to them and their Heirs for ever To Eliza Robins (Senr) Mary Robins
and Eliza Robins (Junr) Daughters of the aforesaid Eliza Robins (Senr) I give
and bequeath all my Wearing Apparel also every part and parcell of my
Household Furniture and every other Kind of Goods & Articles thats about
my House To Hannah White Widow of John White I give and bequeath
the Sum of Twenty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To George
Cook of Trinity in the Island of Newfd Land I give and bequeath the Sum
of Twenty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To William Sweet
of Trinity in the Island of Newfd Ld I give and bequeath the Sum of
Twenty pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain  To
Abraham Akerman of Bn Vista in the Island of Newfd Ld I give and
bequeath the Sum of Five Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To
Stephen Sexton of Trinity but now residing in Bonavista aforesaid I give
and bequeath the Sum of Twenty pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain
To Robert Saxson of Trinity in the Island of Newfd Ld I give and bequeath the
Sum of Twenty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To William
Taverner of Trinity in the Island of Newfd Ld I give and bequeath the
Sum of Twenty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To Susanah
Hitchcock of Trinity in the Island of Newfoundland I give and bequeath
the Sum of Twenty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To George
Robins his Executor Administrators or Assigns the Sum of one hundred pounds
								     to be



to be distributed at Bonavista Ten pounds yearly for Ten Years in Clothing
to Distress'd objects of Charity of and belonging to this place To Eliza Ford of
Bonavista I give and bequeath the Sum of Ten pounds of lawful Money of
Great Britain To James Powell of Bonavista in the Island of Newfd Ld I give
and bequeath the Sum of five pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To
Jane White of Bonavista I give and bequeath the Sum of five pounds of
lawful Money of Great Britain To Henry Powell (Senr) of B Vista I give and
bequeath the Sum of five pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To Mary
Greenen of Tickel Cove in Bonavista Bay I give and bequeath the Sum
of five pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain To Charity Pardy of 
Bonavista I give and bequeath the Sum of five pounds of lawful Money
of Great Britain To John Robins of Bonavista in the Island of Newfd Ld
but now residing in Poole I give and bequeath the Sum of Fifty pounds of
lawful Money of Great Britain To Mary Pinhorn of  Trinity in the Island
of Newfd Ld I give and bequeath the Sum of Twenty pounds To Mary Rolles
of Bonavista I give and bequeath the Sum of five pounds of lawful Money of
Great Britain The Remainder of my Goods Chattels Effects & Money I give
and bequeath to George Robins of Poole but now residing in Bonavista in the
Island of Newfoundland (after my Funeral Expences and just Debts are paid
It's also my wish and desire that the within and abovementioned Legacies shall be
paid within Twelve Calendar Months after my Decease declaring this to be
my only and True Will and Testament and I do hereby constitute and appoint
George Garland Esqr of the Town & County of Poole & Mr Samson Mifflen
Executors and Trustees to this my last Will contained in one Sheet of Paper
In Witness whereof I the said mary Pudner have hereunto set my hand and
Seal at Bonavista aforesaid this twenty fourth Day of July in the year of
our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty one  Mary Pudner  LS
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testatoras as for to be her last
Will and Testament in the Presence of us who in her presence and in the
presence of each other have hereunto set our Hands as witnesses thereof (where
no stampt paper is to be had)  Thos Gaylor  Robt Brown

Proved at London 5th October 1822 before the Judge by the Oath of Samson
Mifflen one of the Executors to whom Admon was granted having been first
sworn by Comon duly to administer George Garland Esquire the other Executor
named in the said Will having first renounced the probate and Execution
thereof as by Act of Court appear
