This is the last Will and Testament
of me Moses Pitt of Ringwood in the County of Southampton Butcher
first I will and direct that all my just debts and funeral expences and
the expence of proving this my Will shall be paid by my Executor
hereinafter named and I give devise and bequeath unto my Mother
Mary Pitt all that my Messuage or dwelling house with the out
houses yard and garden with the appurtenances wherein I now dwell
together with all and singular my Household Goods and Furniture
to hold to the said Mary Pitt and her Assigns during the term of
her natural life also I give and bequeath unto the said Mary Pitt
and her Assigns during the term of her natural life 

   the interest of One thousand pounds sterling to
be paid to her by my Executor hereinafter named by two equal half
yearly payments to be computed from the day of my death and from
and after the death of the said Mary Pitt I give devise and bequeath
my said Messuage or Dwelling house outhouses yard and garden
with the appurtenances and also all and singular the said Household
Goods and Furniture and the said sum of one thousand pounds
sterling to my Brother John Pitt to hold to the said John Pitt his
his heirs Executors administrators and Assigns In trust to pay divide
and dispose of the same equally between him the said John Pitt
and my sister Betty Pitt share and share alike as tenants in
common and not as joint Tenants Also I give devise and bequeath



unto my said sister Betty Pitt all that halve of Meadow land situate in
Southmead in the Parish of Ringwood aforesaid to hold to her her heirs
and Assigns for ever Also I give and bequeath unto my said Sister
Betty Pitt her Executors administrators or Assigns the legacy or sum
of five hundred pounds to be paid to her by my Executor hereinafter named
in twelve Months after my decease but in the meantime to be 
paid the interest thereof from the time of my death and all and
singular the rest residue and remainder of my monies and
securities for money estate and effects rights and credits both real and
personal I give devise and bequeath unto my Brother John
Pitt his heirs Executors administrators and Assigns In trust to pay
divide and dispose of the same and every part thereof equally 
between him the said John Pitt and my said sister Betty Pitt
their heirs Executors administrators and Assigns share and share
alike and I do hereby direct that my Executor hereinafter named
shall not be answerable or accountable for more monies than shall
actually come to his hands And I do hereby nominate constitute
and appoint my said Brother John Pitt Executor of this my Will
hereby revoking all former Will and Wills at any time heretofore
made and do declare this only to be my true last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this
sixth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and thirteen  Moses Pitt  LS  Signed Sealed Published and
declared by the said Testator Moses Pitt as and for his last Will and
Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence
and in the presence of eacho ther have subscribed our names as
Witnesses hereto  C Harbin  Moses Cull  James Stroud

Proved at London 25th July 1829 before the Judge by the oath of
John Pitt the Brother the sole Executor to whom administration
was granted having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer
