In the Name of God Amen
I Robert Mudge Marriner now belonging to his Majesty's Ship
the Buckingham being in bodily health and of sound disposing
mind and memory and not knowing how it may please God to
deal with me But considering the uncertainty of this present
Transitory life do make and declare these presents to contain my
last Will and Testament in manner and Form Following (that is to
say First and principally I comment my Soul unto the hands of Almighty God
hoping to be saved through the Merit Death Passion Resurreccon
of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and my body to the Earth or
Sea as it shall please God to appoint and all such Wages sume
and sumes of money Lands Tenements Goods Chattells and Estate
whatsoever wherewith at the time of my decease I shall be possess'd
or invested or which shall then belong or of right appertain unto
me I do give devise and bequeath unto my loving Wife Sarah
Mudge of the Parish of Shadwell in the County of Middlesex and
do revoke all former Wills and Deeds of Gift by me at any
time heretofore made and do Ordain these presents to stand and
be for and as my last Will and Testament for ever Witness my
hand and Seal this eight day of May One thousand Seven hundred
and forty  Robt Mudge  Signed sealed published and delivered in the
presence of Chas Balfour  H Frost  Tho Stopforth Clk

On the second day of December in the year of our Lord One
Thousand Seven hundred and forty one A Power was granted to
Sarah Mudge Widow the Relict and universal Legatee named in
the last Will and Testament of Robert Mudge late of the parish of
St Paul Shadwell in the County of Middlesex but in his Majesty's
Ship the Buckingham deceased to administer the Goods Chattells and
Credits of the said deceased according to the tenor of the said Will



(There being no Executor therein named) beign first sworn duly to
administer
