In the Name of God Amen
I William Minty being in sound and perfect mind and memory
Doe make this my Last will and Testament in manner and forme 
following First I deliver my Soul to him that gave it me and into
the hands of him who Purchased it from Eternall Death I will
that my Debts be first paid Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth
Linthorne my Neice Fivety pounds sterling to be paid unto her the 
said Elizabeth Linthorne when she is Sixteen yeares of Age Item
I give unto my Nephew Henry Smith now on board the Kent my
Watch and all my wearing Apparrell Books Paper Quills and all
my Mathimaticall Instruments Except one Laced Coate which I 
desire may be sold moreover I bequeath unto the said Henry Smith 
Thirty pounds Sterling to be paid him by my Executors in England Item
I bequeath unto my Mother Elizabeth Minty Twenty pounds to buy
her Mourning Item I Bequeath and give all the rest and residue 
of my Estate Goods and Debts whatsoever Equally to be Divided 
amongst my Brother Capt James Minty and Brother George
Turbervile and my Sister Hester Hunnum and my Sister Eliz
Legoy and my Sister Ellenor Cherrett my will and meaning is 
That if Henry Smith or Eliz Linthorne should Dye that his or her 
Legacy shall be equally Distributed to my Brothers and Sisters as 
aforesaid Also I Desire my Executors hereafter named to putt to 
Interest the said Legacy of Eliz Linthorne and when she is Sixteen
yeares of Age to pay her Interest and Principall I give unto my Sister 
Elizabeth Minty Ten pounds to buy her Mourning and Ten pounds
to Richard Rowlandson and Ten pounds more to Elizabeth Rowlandson
his Wife and Ten pounds to Capt Minter and Five pounds to Mr


Lanc Skynner and one Quarter Cask of Arrack to the Shipps Company
with Sugar equall to it and a Quarter Cask to Mr Henry Collins 
my will is that Capt James Minty my Brother and Richd Rowlandson
be Executors to this my Last Will and Testament I humbly Desire 
Capt Mintor and Lancelot Skynner to be Trustees to Dispose of 
all my Effects and Goods now on board the Kent to the best advantage 
and to Deliver the product thereof to my Executors beforenamed
Further I desire that my Servants may have what is necessary and
I doe hereby Revoke and make Void all former Wills by me here
tofore made In Wittness whereof I the said William Minty to this 
my Last Will and Testament doe sett my hand and seale this Thirtieth
Day of November One Thousand Seven hundred and Twelve
