In The name of God Amen
I John Hiley of the Citty of Bristoll whitetower being sickly of body
but of sound and perfect memory (Thanks be to God Considering with
my selfe the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof
Doe therefore make this my Last will and Testament of such worldly
Estate yet hath pleased God to bestow upon me in Forme following (That is
to say) First I doe Revoake all former wills by me made And doe make
and ordeine my Loving wife Elizabeth Hiley full and whole Executrix of this
my last will and Testament Item I give to my Loving wife Elizabeth Hiley
All my messuages Tenements lands and hereditaments both in possession and 
Revercon which are in the Citty of Bristoll and elsewhere for and during the 
Terme of her naturall And from and after her decease I give and devise 
unto my sonne Peter Hiley his heires and Assignes All my messuages and
lands with itts appurtenncs scituate in Pooll in the County of Dorsett And
alsoe the great house with itts appurtenncs scituate on the w???? in Bristoll
And alsoe my Drying yard in the Fryers lane And alsoe the messuage 
which I now live in But I doe order my sonne Peter And it is my will and
meaning That he pay unto my daughter Mary the sume of Two Hundred
pounds of lawfull money of England when she shall attaine to the age of one
and Twenty yeares or day or marriage which shall first happen Item I give 
to my sonne John Hiley his heires and assignes The Foure Houses in Merchant
streete Two whereof are in the tenure of Alexander French and the other Two
in the Tenure of Thomas Redwood But my will and meaning is That my
said sonnes shall not enjoy their particuler porcons till after the death of my

said wife And in the meane time my wife to receive the Rents issues and
proffitts thereof Towards their maintenance All the Rest and Residue of my
goods Cattells Chattells Bills Bonds Plate Housholdstuffe debts and other personall
Estate whatsoever not herein before by me given and bequeathed my debts and 
legacies being paid and Funerall expences discharged my will and meaning is 
shall be equally devided amongst my wife and Children share and share alike 
And I doe desire and appoint my Loving Friends John Whiteing Grocer 
Ozziell Browne gent to be Overseers of this my will And Lastly my will and
meaning is That my Executrix shall not be Compelled or Compellable to give
any security to the Court of Orphans in Bristoll for any thing herein conteyned 
In witnes whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seale to this one sheet
