In the name of God Amen
I William Guy Cittizen and Haberdasher of London though sicke and
weake in Bodie yet being of sound and perfect sence and memorie praised be
God for the same Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament
in manner and forme followeing (that is to say) First I bequeath my Soule
unto God my infinite and mercifull Creatorr hopeing and firmely beleiving
that in and through the only ^ meritts of my deare Lord and only Saviour Jesus		^ and onely
Christ to be received upp into his everlasting kingdome of Glorie My Bodie I
give unto the Earth whereof it was made to be decentlie entered in the parish
Church of Saint Mildreds Breadsheete London at the discretion of my Executrs
hereafter named And as for the Worldlie Estate that it hath pleased God of
his infinite goodnes to bestowe upon mee my debts and funerall Charges
being first satisfied and paid out of the same I give and bequeath in manner
and forme followeing (that is to say Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my
verie loving Brother Robert Guy the summe of Fortie shillings to buy him a
gold right Further I give unto my said Brother Robert Guy Six pounds to buy him
mourning Item I give and bequeath unto my said Brother Roberts eldest
Daughter by his first wife the summe of Fiftie pounds Item I give and be-
queath unto my Said Brothers sonne William Guy the summe of Fiftie
pounds and to his sonne John Guy the summe of Fiftie pounds Item I give
and bequeath unto my Sister Sarah Tarlton the summe of one hundred
pounds Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter in Lawe Elizabeth Nowell
the summe of Twentie pounds Item I give and bequeath unto Joseph Drewe
my Accomptant the summe of Twentie pounds Item I give and bequeath unto
my verie loving Freind Roger Martin the summe of Five pounds Item I
give and beque unto loveing freing John Marten the elder the summe of
five pounds Item I give and bequeath unto my kinswoeman Abigael Kow
the summe of Five pounds Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Bissoe
the summe of Five pounds Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Ann
Fishers Two Daughters (to say) Sarah and Martha Fisher the summe of
Fortie pounds to be equallie devided betwixt them Item I give and bequeath
unto my loving Freind William Browne Ribbon Weaver in Shoreditch the
summe of five poundes Item I doe give and bequeath unto my veryloving
Couzin John Gate at present in Virginia the summe of Fortie pounds Item I
doe give and bequeath unto my very loving Friend William Allen of London
Marchant and to my loveing Freind Anthony Feild my Executors here-
after named to each of them the summe the summe of Twentie pounds
Further as to the rest and Remainder of my Estate whatsoever it shall make
out more then the severall Legacies hereabove bequeathed either of my Estate
in England Virginia or elsewhere I doe give and bequeath first out of the
same unto my Sister Sarah Tarlton the summer of Fiftie pounds over and
above the hundred here agove bequeathed to her And the rest and Remainder
of the said Overplus my will and pleasure is and I doe hereby give and
bequeath to be equallie devided by my Executors amongst all the Children
of my above named brother Robert Guy and the children of my abovenamed Sister
								Anne Fisher



Anne Fisher to be equallie destributed amongst them all over and above
the Legacies here first above bequeathed to them Further I doe hereby nominate
Constitute and appoynte my trustie and verie loving Freinds William Allen
of London Marchant and Anthonie Feild to be my Executors to this my last Will
and Testament giveing them full power and authoritie to execute the same And
I doe hereby declare and publish this to be my last Will and Testament utterlie
renounceing and revoaking all former Wills by mee at anie time heretofore made
In witnesse whereof I have freely hereunto sett my hand and seale the Four-
-teenth day of November in the yeare of our Lord One Thousand Six hundred
sixtie and Five and in the seaventeenth yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne
Lord king Charles the second king of England Scotland France and Ireland
Wm Guy Signed sealed published and declared this by the within named
William Guy to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of William
Blanchard John Martin Junior the marke of Wilbeare Watts the marke 
of Anne Martin

Probatum fuit [this paragraph continues in Latin to grant probate at London
on 29 November 1665]
